Because of the negative complaints I received from my friends after their moves, I decided that the same fate would not befall my move. I went into serious search online for a good moving company and I was lucky to find one. Long Distance Movers had the best reviews and indeed they had the best service. Their staff and movers were excellent people who made the move fun-filled. I will move with them again in my future movers.

I move a couple number of times during in a year and therefore have witnessed how things can damage, get ruined and be destroyed during a move. We usually have issues with the moving guys we hired because of their unprofessional attitudes to the work. This time around, it was different because we hired good movers who took care of everything and gave us the best touch in the move. I give them A++ for the job.

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine recommended this moving company to me for my move. I thought he was just exaggerating everything when he enlisted their excellent services but to my amazement, they were all true. Now I am recommending them to you so that you can enjoy the same excellent services I enjoyed from the best movers.

It was a hot sunny day that we moved in Florida. The heat of the sun was simply enervating but what surprised me about the move was that the movers were simply undaunted. They continued working even with the scorching sun. I actually thought that they might get dehydrated along the line or get sick but they did not. These movers worked and moved my stuff until everything was in a perfect order. Long Distance Movers is simply one of a kind moving company. I give you guys A++ for the top notch services.

The care that Long Distance Movers extended to my things is second-to-none. They were able to transfer all my furniture without a scratch. They delivered within the time frame we had set and helped me arrange things in my new house in San Jose. I’m very happy for such a lovely relocation by Long Distance Movers. The movers took care of all my stuff and excellently handled the entire process. I didn’t have to worry about anything because I had knowledgeable and skilled guys in control.

If you use this company you are doing so at your own peril. Their representative, Greg, who is no longer with the company, convinced me to cancel the move I had already booked with another company. He flat-out lied by telling me Long Distance Movers was not a broker and they had their own trucks. Imagine my shock when moving day came and two guys pulled up in a Ryder rental truck. They informed that LDM’s is in fact a broker and that my move was subcontracted to them. It gets much better though. The driver eyeballed our things and quickly told me we did not pay enough. I had to pay an additional $2400 before they would load anything, which more than doubled my original cost. When they delivered my good to the new address, my wife’s cousin met the truck since we were not at the new location yet. They left absolutely no paperwork with him to show how much everything weighed, so I probably got ripped off for more than I should have spent. But wait! There’s more! Oh yeah. They also solicited a tip from me which I felt I had to pay.
They lost two of my dining room chairs. They lost some metal lawn ornaments that had belonged to my mother. They broke our couch, our TV stand, and we are missing pieces to our platform bed (which they failed to reassemble like they were supposed to). They broke a box of my wife’s family heirlooms, totally scratched up a brand new kitchen hutch that we are still paying for. There was more damage but you get the idea. It’s terrible.

Recently moved from Arizona to Kentucky. I was set up with a great moving company through Long Distance Movers. All the customer service representatives were very helpful. Annie was very helpful especially. She worked hard on my move and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I'm very happy with this company and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a long distance move.

Very much appreciated the help from Long Distance Movers recently. The proved to be very reliable and trustworthy. I would certainly recommend Long Distance Movers to anyone without hesitation. Although it was a long day the guys kept their head up and remained cheerful and polite throughout the whole move. I opted for the full packing service which was a very worthwhile extra as I suffer from arthritis.

The movers themselves were very capable, polite and friendly. Everything was padded and wrapped so I had zero damage. I was quite surprised at how swiftly the entire move was. They arrived on time with plenty of packing materials and barely stopped for a drink. The delivery was also on time and they were happy to move items around when we changed our mind about where they should be. Nothing was broken.

They were quick and thorough. On the day of the move, they arrived on time and just got on with the job. They worked so hard, as we had a lot of things. When we got to the new property, it wasn't the easiest of places to get the lorry in but they managed and unloaded the boxes into all the right rooms, with nothing damaged or broken! Would highly recommend for service and price.

From start to finish they have been so professional with a friendly attitude to their work We would highly recommend this business and the staff are so helpful. Also i have to mention that the vans they use are very clean and modern.

Brilliant service at a very competitive price. Excellent team of admin and removal staff. The removal staff arrived in time and used utmost care in shipping my household items. All staff were very friendly and pleasant to deal with; a very smooth and stress free movement. Also, a very straight forward business with no hidden costs and still one of the cheapest. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Packaging and allocating the boxes through the inside of their van was their strength and they managed to fill it up to the roof without anything being unstable or in danger of falling. That also showed for their professionalism as we received all of our boxes undamaged except for several lightly crumpled edges on some of the boxes. The contents however were intact and this round up my recommendation on Long Distance Movers.

They sent three guys and managed the move in a single day. All of them introduced themselves and shook hands on arrival (a nice touch and a great way to start). Thereafter they were friendly, thorough and prompt – nothing was too much trouble. We were really happy with the job they did. Book with confidence.
