I also moved out of The Orchards in June 2011 and still haven't got my deposit of 1348.50 back and it is now Aug 2011. By law they owe me 2697.00 that double by deposit. I have called 248-642-0190 and have left message all most two times a day and not one return call from the sorry so called CEO of this company. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the Michigan General Attorney in mi and a small claims case and have found two other that are waiting too. The Landon company hasn,t paid property taxes in Bloomfield since 2007 they are in default LOOK IT UP ON THE CITY SITE. I just may get all of us together and picket outside the 21 E long lake office to let others know this company SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone feel free to contact me at sheila.renaud@yahoo.com and hope others screw this company before they screw you I would not pay my last month and half lot rent if you are planning to move out

The Orchards residential area was a community that I rented for over two years. I gave a $1,600 deposit which was given to this company (for reasons I dont know). After I left and The Orchards gave me my all clear with no damages letter, after now 40+ days later I still do not have my deposit. This company never returns calls and when I do get a hold of them (her) I get the same response "the CFO has not cleared that .. nothing else I can tell you" very poor business. I would never do business with The Orchards or this company ever! I am not forced to sue them in attempts to get my own money :(
