Overall

I had BA Hitch do a trailer light/hitch install on my vehicle. I phoned them about a week after the install to explain I had discovered my trailer light plug on the hitch was not working. It never worked. The clerk was very rude and told me two techs sign off on a job before a job is released. "If the lights are not working it’s because you damaged it" was his exact words. He then instructed me to bring trailer and vehicle to the shop so they could fix whatever it was I did. This was not going to happen. It’s unsafe and illegal to drive a trailer without lights. Angry, I turned to Google and after some research I noticed BA Hitch had installed the positive wire on the light kit to the negative terminal on my car battery. It was an easy fix but that's not the point. QA isn't BA's thing.

Looking back, it’s clear the two teenagers who installed my trailer lights did not test them. It was a late Friday afternoon and as soon as they were done with the job one of them jumped in an old black beater 60's car and sped off. The whole experience sucked. They were always real short with me and didn’t take the time to answer simple quick questions. When I called to inquire about prices they just spat off some numbers and hung up, not explaining what brand I was buying or anything. I saw this as a red flag but against my better judgment I did business with them anyway. Never again will I decide to support the local guys. Go with U-Haul.

Overall

I would go as far as saying i would tell anyone who asked these guys were great i have a old car a 81 Honda Civic not your most saved car here in the USA not sure why it seats 4 and gets 33/44 hwy mpg but anyway i love the car and the battery tray rusted thru and the Battery had fallen out no one wanted to help i called every car and welding shop in the area and then someone said to call these guys and he said sure we can fix it just bring it up and will will figure out what is needed and get you a price!

So I got the car up there and with in mins it was fixed all i assumed anyone would do is get a 3 mm piece of sheet metal and weld it to the frame where the other box was and he didn't stop there he used 4 mm or 5 mm steal and build a custom box with sides not large side but just enough to keep it from moving or tipping and then even put 2 eyes to put my bungee cable thru to hold the battery down in-case of hills flips etc and then he painted it and welded it to the spot where the other box was and now its the nicest part of my car and i show everyone!

they did this while i waited in much less then 1hr I was so happy and it was only $70

If there was a replacement part from HONDA to fix my battery tray which i'm sure there isn't since its not a muscle car it would have been at least 70$ and it would haven't have held the battery as well or last as long as this custom battery box they made!

Thanks again guys!!
