Dental Examination
The best way to determine what choice is best for you is to come to the office and meet Dr. Sushko. The doctor offers a no-charge consultation and a free oral exam and can go over all of your questions and options.
X-rays
Before recommending a root canal, we collect a thorough history of any symptoms and perform an examination including dental X-rays. This aids in the accurate diagnosis of any tooth that may be suspected of needing a root canal.

Teeth Cleaning

Fillings
Many people are concerned about their old fillings and are having them replaced. Dr. Sushko can remove and replace your old amalgam or “silver" fillings with inlays and onlays, restoring your teeth to their natural beauty. Besides being an undetectable tooth-color, the composite filling material is superior to the old amalgam fillings in many ways. The final result is almost as strong as the natural tooth.
Resin Composite
Dental bonding is a procedure that utilizes a composite resin (tooth-colored material) to cover flaws in your teeth. A thin coating of bonding agent (dental adhesive) is applied to the surface of the tooth.
Veneers
Porcelain veneers are very thin porcelain facings that can last for up to 20 years and look completely natural.
Crowns

Deep Cleaning
Ultrasonic scaling or “deep cleaning” is a new weapon to fight periodontal or gum disease. The scaling device looks like a small wand with a tip that produces ultrasonic vibrations. These vibrations, in combination with a flow of water, remove plaque, tartar and bacteria from the teeth, gums and mouth. Ultrasonic cleaning is more effective than old-fashioned methods and can remove build-up beneath the gumline and stubborn deposits.

Dental Implants
Dental implants are artificial tooth roots, made of titanium, that are inserted into your jawbone and allow the permanent attachment of artificial new teeth. Dr. Sushko has trained in dental implant restoration and is able to plan your treatment so that the implants look natural and are durable. He partners with a trusted local oral surgeon or periodontist to place the implants and guides the entire treatment to successful completion.

Tooth Extractions
Most tooth extractions, including some wisdom teeth removals, can be done in the comfort of our office. Dr. Sushko can handle your tooth extraction with expertise and a gentle hand.

Orthodontics
Dr. Sushko effectively treats minor jaw disorders, more commonly known as TMJ. In addition to his training in general and family dentistry, Dr. Sushko also has experience in handling tooth and jaw alignment, having completed advanced dental courses in orthodontics (the study and handling of tooth alignment and problems associated with proper bites) and TMJ. Dr. Sushko works with specialists for any advanced treatments he cannot do.
Braces
Dr. Sushko offers ClearCorrect as an alternative to traditional braces. ClearCorrect straightens your teeth using a series of clear, custom, removable aligners. Each aligner moves your teeth just a little bit at a time until your teeth are eventually straight.

Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is an option for people who have stained their teeth from one of any number of sources. Teeth staining can come from drinking coffee, tea or soda or smoking tobacco. Two methods of teeth whitening are the Zoom teeth whitening system and Opalescence Boost system. In some respects, such as application time, which is typically about one hour for each, the methods are very similar while also having differences.
