I have been going to Cheri(the owner) for about 10 years now, and I absolutely LOVE her! She has always done a fabulous job and I have always gotten compliments on my hair since going to her. This salon has a friendly, laid back atmosphere...not stuffy and way overpriced like most Birmingham salons. If you want a great cut, color or both this is the salon for you!!

I lost my stylist of 10 years and, in a panic, was trying everything. I got a suggestion about KCS from a friend and took a chance. I have NEVER had a better experience at a salon. The service is excellent, the salon is relaxing and the prices are out of this world. Cheri is my stylist - and I will not go anywhere else. I have had more compliments and have more "hair confidence" than I have ever had... I wish I had know about it sooner!! I rave about it to anyone that will listen!!

Getting my hair done is my only "splurge". When I went to the salon the first time, I didn't get the haircut I wanted. I went back and Cherie fixed it at no charge. She takes her time and talks at length about what I want and makes sure that we are on the "same page". I have enjoyed the experience and will continue to give them my business.

If you have curly hair & I mean the wild and frizzy kind than Kenneth Clayton Salon is the salon for you. I have tried just about every salon in this town and have always been disappointed until I found Cheri. Lets face it hairdressers say that they can cut curly hair, but it is truly a God given gift! Cheri has the gift! Not only does she do a fabulous cut, but she is an expert colorist. The entire staff is wonderful and pleasant! I love the calming atmosphere, comfy sofas & the awesome magazine selection. Cheri has been cutting & coloring my hair for a couple of years now. So if you are shopping for a new salon, than look no farther. Trust me I have tried them all and finally found the BEST!

Cheri is the BEST!! She's been doing my hair for about 8 or 9 years now and it always comes out great! I'm definitely picky and hard to please, but Cheri never acts frustrated (even though I know she is;-) ) and always aims to please. If you are looking for a true professional who takes pride in her work and likes to have a good time doing it, then you need to call Cheri!!

Wow! Getting your hair cut and/or colored is always nice and relaxing, especially when you have a great stylist like Cheri. I have been going to her for over 5 years and she's fantastic. From the time you walk into the door, the staff is very attentive, always making you feel welcomed and comfortable. Of course, the coffee/soft drink bar and the snacks are nice too!



I love the red hues and Cheri is a master at color, always choosing something that compliments me and willing to change things up for the appropriate season.

After the great cut that I received from Cheri and the friendly service from her staff, I was hooked. KCS is highly recommended by me!

I have only gone once but plan to make Kenneth Clayton Salon my salon of choice. The two color foil came out perfectly...not grey, not brassy, ...very natural. Cheri was great to talk to and she understood exactly what I wanted. I bought this opportunity at a silent auction for the Shelby County Humane Society...and ended up not only helping homeless dogs and cats, but finding a great hairstylist!

I would like to thank Kennth Clayton salon for every thing they have done for me. Cheri is great. I have been to her a few times now and have no intentions on changing. She does a great job and every one there is extremely nice. I really recomend for you to try in.

Not only does the salon have a warm and inviting atmosphere, but Cheri consistently does an excellent job of listening to exactly what I want done and then actually does it. She is very professional and an exceptional stylist. Also, her prices are extremely reasonable, especially for the area of town the salon is located in. I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Cheri for over 10 years. She is fabulous. I started going to her in high school and continue to use her now that I am a mother myself.
