It gets no better than this hence the five stars in each category, easy access and parking, nice facility, team is very friendly from arrival to departure and the doctors are efficient, knowledgable and that includes multiple treatments and surgeries.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Dr. J and the entire practice at Inverness Dermatology. My first experience was with Dr. J in 2004 when my son had acne treatment. My whole family goes to Inverness Dermatology now. I've had several procedures including skin examinations, chemical peels, injectables, laser treatments and skin cancer removal. Never, ever, have I or anyone in my family had a bad experience. Yes, it's difficult to get an appointment as they are very busy. To me, this is a good problem.

I am basing my experience with not one but numerous encounters over a period of 12+ years.

Dr. Jacobson is absolutely terrific! I initially went for precancerous lesions all over my body and she handled it right away. Very professional and very throughouly. Then I found out she was very talented in making you look young again Wow, I look 15 years younger! The fillers, botox, and laser she performed on me did miracles I didn't know were possible! I highly recommend her and her clinic! I am absolutely thrilled with my new youthful appearance.

Very intelligent physician with an excellent bedside manner. Truly cares for her patients' needs. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Will continue going to Dr. Jacobson until she retires!

I began seeing Dr. J. several years ago for breakouts on my legs, arms, & back that are weepy & itch terribly. To date, I do not know what it is, or really what causes it since I use hypoallergenic everything. I saw Dr. Mark on 2/1/12 for yet another flare up of weepy rash over most of my body ~ got the ointment & prednisone. It never went away & had started flaring up again, so I called today, 6/27/12 to make an appointment, & I was told that the first opening was in August. To clarify, I said "you mean I am supposed to wait until August for a MEDICAL condition." I was told yes, they were very busy. I do not know why I am shocked; I never really received proper medical care anyway. But the entire practice has really become a Barbie doll factory for injections, fillers, and laser treatments with blue light specials and Botox lunches (no appointment necessary). At this point, I for one do not believe that this is a medical practice anymore.

Dr. Jacobson explained exactly what proceedure she was going to do on my daughter and gave us several options. She spent a lot of time with us and we have the utmost confidence in her as our doctor. She sent us to UAB for a follow up proceedure and all of the doctors there agreed with her findings. If you google her, you will see that she has been internationally recognized for her innovations in treating difficult skin disorders. Impressive!

Dr. Jacobson is an artist with cosmetic proceedures. She does not over botox or put in too much filler. I enjoy the natural look to her enhancements and that takes a lot of skill. Friends and family comment that you look pretty and rested, not ask you who did your botox. Her prices are competitive and I love the office atmosphere. I have used other dermatologists in the area and will never go to anyone else again!

Dr. Jacobson does my botox and lip filler. It looks great. She is really friendly and nice.

Don't waste your time. Injected filler in the wrong place on my face per a plastic surgeon.

Staff used to be somewhat friendly but have become just plain grumpy. Not friendly at all and not accommodating in any way.

Dr. Jacobson seems knowledgeable but treats patients like factory products- get 'em out as quickly as possible. She quickly did a procedure to freeze off a mole without telling me she was going to do it and I have a scar as a result. I would have preferred the small little mole to a big scar on my thigh.

I also had horrible side effects from a different procedure (this one was authorized) but the negative side effects have lasted over 1.5 yrs and the benefits have long gone.

If you choose to see her, make sure she slows down to explain what's going on before she does it and duck if you see a handheld metal thing coming towards you!

Very nice office and great staff... just loved Dr. Jacobson!
