Chili's Grill & Bar

I am a frequent customer of Chili's wherever I travel and I have to say this is the worst Chili's I have ever been to. To start the hostess greeted us when we got there and asked how many. We told her 2 people & without another word to us, or writing anything down, she turned to other people waiting and said "your table of 5 is ready". She seated them and then came back and walked right past us without a word. We stood there for about 5 minutes until the bar waitress came up to us & asked us if we had been helped. We told her no and she said we could sit in the bar if we wanted. We did and she waited on us. We asked for a glass of Chardonnay wine and she said they did not have any white wine at all, only red. We said we never heard of Chili's not carrying Chardonnay. She said "Oh, we are just out of it. We run out every Monday because the weekend is so busy". She managed to find just 1 glass for my dining partner, but said that was the last of it. We ordered our food and when it was delivered, it was lukewarm. We were also not given any silverware even though we asked for it twice. Finally, the waitress came back & asked us if we "minded using plastic silverware instead of regular silverware?" I said "you're joking, right?" She said "No, our dishwasher did not show up for work today and the staff from the previous night did not wash the silverware." What could we say, we had to have silverware to eat our food, which by this time was no longer lukewarm, it was cold. If I were Chili's, I would be embarrassed to put my name on the front door of this restaurant!

We came in around 10 pm on a Saturday night, and were seated immediately. We had great service, the food came out quickly, and everything was great.

My experience at Chilis was quite nice! It started off a little slow because it was crowded. But my wait wasn't long, I would say 5 to 10 minutes at most. I was skeptical at first because the hostess was a little old lady, but she proved me wrong. She was getting people in and sitting them pretty quickly. Once I was seated, my waiter arrived and I must admit he was much slower than the old lady. It took him a while to get our drinks and even longer to take our order. Luckily I was there with some good friends and good conversation. When our food arrived we had to asked for utensils and had to wait about 5 minutes for that. However, the food was delicious and very filling.
