Brewer Dental Center is proud to host an annual day of FREE dentistry! We partner with a national organization, Dentistry from the Heart, to bring complimentary smiles to our community. This annual event allows us to provide dental cleanings, extractions and fillings to those in need of services. In total, Brewer Dental Center has helped nearly 4,000 patients and donated over $1.4 million in FREE dental care. Thank you to our contributors and volunteers for making it possible.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride is a naturally-occurring mineral that strengthens teeth, protecting them from decay. The government adds fluoride to public drinking water to give the population a boost to their dental health, but the trace amounts of fluoride received through this method is not always enough to achieve the desired results. This is why the Brewer Dental Center team offers topical fluoride treatment. This is a more direct means of obtaining fluoride to build stronger teeth and gums.
Dental Sealants
If you have sensitive teeth or are prone to cavities, you can also ask a Brewer Dental Center dentist about protective sealants that can prevent bacteria from wedging itself in hard-to-reach places in teeth. Talk to us today if you have more concerns about dental hygiene.
Space Maintainers
When these problems are caught early, we can start correcting the problem before it gets worse. This may involve teaching better oral health, installing temporary space maintainers, or providing them with removable, noninvasive dental appliances like Invisalign braces.

Fillings

Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment is necessary when the pulp â€“ soft tissue inside your teeth containing blood vessels, nerves, and connective tissue â€“ becomes inflamed or diseased. A root canal is a relatively simple procedure that causes little to no discomfort and requires only one to three visits to the dentistâ€™s office â€“ depending on the severity. Brewer Dental Center uses the latest technology and techniques during root canal treatment to ensure that your experience is as painless and comfortable as possible. And we will provide you with all the information and care tips we can throughout the entire process.

Deep Cleaning
Gum disease is a serious condition, but one that develops slowly. In the early stages of gum disease, Brewer Dental Center can provide a non-surgical treatment known as scaling and root planning. In this treatment, we remove plaque and tartar that has built on teeth surfaces and developing gum pockets. Gum pockets are empty spaces next to teeth that were caused by receding gums. These pockets provide extra space for bacteria to hold up and wear away at teeth and gums. If left alone for too long, this tartar buildup can cause severe gum disease.

Dentures
The most common question we get asked is, â€œHow long does the dentures process take?â€ The entire process of getting dentures takes three to four weeks on average. After your consultation, molds will be taken of your mouth and your dentures will be created. If you still have teeth remaining that need to be removed, the dentures will be placed after the teeth have been extracted.
