Commercial pest control companies. Here at BatPro, we remove wildlife for you ethically and humanely. We love animals. We just don’t love nuisance animals in places you’re trying to do business.
Dangers include contracting viruses such as rabies or picking up parasites such as fleas. Furthermore, guano also presents a health risk and are dangerous to remove without professional training. Bat droppings are known carriers of histoplasmosis, an infectious fungus that causes lung and breathing problems
Ticks
Humans and their businesses attract many animals. Humans are a great source of food for some animals because of the trash they leave behind. Do you own a restaurant, a convenience store, a grocery store, or a food service business? You may have a greater chance of having an unwanted visitor. Wildlife that is close to businesses can cause problems for humans. It can spread diseases that can be serious or fatal, such as salmonella, leptospirosis, rabies, and lymphocytic choriomeningitis. None of these would be good for your customers to get. Wildlife can also bring fleas and ticks into your business, which could affect your bottom line.
Mosquitoes
The team at BatPro understands how bats can be a terrible nuisance. However, we know the purpose and benefits they serve. They eat mosquitoes and with the growing concern of the harm mosquitos can do to humans we can welcome their presence. Let us help you get rid of your bat problem the safe and humane way and let them continue to control the mosquito population.
Moths
Homeowners have found online and through gossip at the coffee shops, that mothballs can be used for bat removal. This is a myth and does not help get rid of bats. Mothballs are used for deterring moths and moth larva, not for the removal of bats. When a homeowner uses mothballs, it actually makes the situation worse. Mothballs go through sublimation, and this process produces Naphthalene gas which is a toxic vapor that mixes in with Bat urine and guano. This mixture of gasses enhances the smell of the bats without excluding them, so there is no benefit to the homeowner that uses mothballs as a tactic to get rid of bats in their home.
Mites
Having birds in your home, usually, the attic contaminates the attic with bird droppings, bird mites, bacteria, viruses, and fungi. One type of fungi that is unique to bird and bat droppings is the fungus that causes histoplasmosis, a serious disease that humans can contract after being exposed to the spores.
Bats in MI are the second most numerous mammalian species known to man and are the only mammals capable of true flight. They make up almost one-quarter of all mammalian species in the world, Another way to look at this is that one out of every five mammalian species belongs to bats. All bats have developed eyesight and can see quite well. However, visibility in the dark is always a challenge so most bats use echolocation (sound echoes that bounce off of objects) to find their prey and navigate. Echolocation is only effective for very short distances (several meters from the bat) and contributes to the erratic flight of these mammals. These wildlife critters are the most misunderstood mammal in existence today and only through the continual study of these creatures will we ever realize their true potential.
Raccoons
Raccoons are not pets and raccoon removal is needed whenever you find them living in your structure. Why? Female Raccoons looking for an entry point and den location to give birth to their cubs are very destructive to the inside of your home. They will damage the insulation in your attic compressing it by walking on it and reducing the R-value, along with forming latrines, causing piles of feces and urine to accumulate on insulation and drywall. Raccoon feces could contain raccoon roundworm, which can be potentially fatal to your family’s health.

Bird removal is a complex process that takes several different approaches to succeed. Using visual or sound deterrents, we safely and humanely remove birds from your home. Subtle bird netting around the roof and traps will keep your unwelcome visitors away without affecting the overall look of your home.
