Peppercorn Grille

The worst costumer service!! They could not accommodate a party of 6, they said only have one big table. (We would not mind sitting 4 at a table!) The lady was rude and uptight.

The food was ok, definately had better. The service was horrible. We had to remind several times for drinks. Then they took over an hour to get us two pizza's. Last but not least don't ask for extra plates. Apparently they are in short supply!!! Wouldn't recommend!!!

My husband and I were looking forward to a nice dinner at Peppercorn. Some friends had said they enjoyed dining there.

We were surprised by the hokey decor including fake flowers, but figured the food would make up for the ambience.

It didn't happen. We shared an appetizer which was just awful - bruschetta which was an insult to Italian cuisine. It was nothing more than melted cheese and tomatoes on toast. After that, I had the artichoke stuffed chicken which had avacado pieces that just didn't add anything to this horribly bland dish. Such a disappointing dinner. Our server, I think her name was Amy, was kind and apologetic, but I will never go back and waste another dollar on this place.

A group of us (four couples) were looking for a fine dining experience in Big Bear, instead we found a horrible experience and waste of 90 mintues of our Saturday evening. We put our names in and they said we'd be seated in 45-60 minutes, acceptable. After an hour they said they could not accomodate us and continued to be extremely rude and insincere. I will never, ever set foot in that restaurant again! There are many other nearby choices which offer great food and service other than Peppercorn!
