Complete waste of money. This girl charges you ~$90 per "session" to pretty much stare at you awkwardly for 40 minutes, occasionally nod her head, and sometimes say "sounds like a very stressful situation." She very often shows up late to appointments and has made it very clear during my time with her that she cares far more about her professional reputation and not getting sued than the health and well-being of her "patients." For example, I was sitting with her once during a session, and she asked me if I had ever considered suicide. I told her that I had at one point, and she immediately called her boss into the room, and prepared something called a "Form 1013" which, if signed by a licensed clinician, can have someone involuntarily committed to a mental health hospital for 72 hours. Her boss then asked me if I had any suicidal intentions, and, knowing that if I answered yes, him and Melissa would have me committed, I was pretty much intimidated into answering "no" out of fear. Thankfully, I had no suicidal intentions at the time. However, it's clear that this girl's only goal is to take your money and have you locked away at the first opportunity in order to aggressively protect herself legally at her patients' expense. Highly unethical. I quit seeing her after about a month of "treatment," and have since gone to a far more qualified and caring therapist, and frankly, after receiving real psychotherapy from this new therapist, I'm amazed that crooks like this girl are allowed to carry a professional counseling license in the first place. Stay far away from her, her "services" are useless.
