Overall

I found 2 Subarus on their web site that I liked. So I filled out the pre-approval form and sent an e-mail on the other, because it did not have a price on it. A lady named Jackie called me back with the price and told me the other one is in Siloam Springs but she would get it to her lot so I could look at them both. I told her I already sent in a pre-approval for the one in Siloam, she asked me to fill one out for her lot and she would get right on it, then she gave me her cell # and asked that I text her when I was done with the app. I also told her on the phone I had cash for the down payment (more than what the web site stated).The next day I sent a text asking if the was any news on the approval. I got no response. Then Saturday morning I get a call asking if I was still coming in at 12:45pm. I had not schedule a time, because no one had gotten back to me yet. I asked if I had been approved she responds with my manger said everything is fine, just get her in here to get this done. I then double checked with the lady that we had been approved for the subaru, because I don't want to come down and waste yours or my time. She said yes we will get it worked out. We show up at 12:45 like asked, and we were meet at the door by a gentleman and we asked for Jackie. Jackie came out for a second to tell us she was with other customers, and she would be with us in abit, before she walked off I asked where the cars are and she said the Siloam lot would not send over the car, so I asked where the other one is, she turned and looked across the lot and responed with I don't know. We sat there for 30 minutes before another lady came over and started talking with us for a minute during this minute says I don't think we can get you approved for the cars you are looking at(both under$8k with our down payment it would have been less than $5k), but we can get you approved for a vehicle with less than 70,000 miles and newer than a 2009. We told her no we are here to look at the Subarus. She replys I got that what else are you looking for in your vehicle, we told her 4x4 or AWD. She said ok then replys I'll be right back with what we have. Another 15 minutes later she comes back with we don't have anything that meets what you are looking for, but we do other car that are in your payment range. I told her no we are here for the car we already discussed on the phone, then she replys well the bank will not approve the loan on those car, because those cars won't last the duration of the loan, and those car did not pass. So I ran through everything we had been told before we even made it to the lot, she says sorry about that but we can get you in a car today and you can trade it in in 6-12mth for something else you like. We got up and left. This was a text book bait and switch. STAY AWAY THEY ARE ALL LIARS!!!
