I haven taken time to write a detailed review on Yelp because i want people to know what they need to prepare for when going with Top Line.

I made it a point to mention each and every item beginning from our mattress to our steel trash can (even going over details such as the trash can wont be empty and i will be putting stuff in it.) over the phone when creating the quote.

For someone who believes that women cant handle packing & moving without help from their husbands and that people have absolutely no understanding of how much things weigh at all i spoke with him very respectfully and have been extremely patient.
On the day of the move they did not show up on time.

Daniel was very sweet to us till we made the advance payment and flipped right after.He promised us a lot of things--- that they will call us once the shipment is out and share the driver details with us etc.None of that ever happened.

When we called them to find out when the shipment will leave for our place, they were extremely rude and totally unprofessional.

They were prompt enough to send the weight certificate the same day they picked our stuff up-- only for us to find out we were 681 pounds over the quote !!!! Say 300Lbs is something i can understand -- but 681 ?

681 pounds is almost like packing 12 large 4.5 Cu. ft. Lowes moving boxes with 50 lbs each!!!!

681 lbs is how much 2 - 3 Recliner Sofas weigh !!
We do have a good idea of weights and know for sure this cant happen with our shipment.

When we called them up ... a very very upset Daniel yells back at me : You only have two options now : Either you make the payment and collect the shipment,hire a truck,load all the stuff and going to a weighing station.OR Send the shipment back to our warehouse and we will charge you for the storage.He says these things fully knowing that you are not in position to do either ! :)

He feels entitled to be rude and threaten and patronize you because he claims he has 39 years of experience and is 60 years old.

At the end of it all--- they charged us much more than than what a normal professional moving company would have.I feel so cheated right now.Had they been upfront about how much they truly wanted to charge us - we would have been prepared !

Also,this is probably how most moving companies work -- they hand over your shipment to another third party company.And the third party company has their own set of charges when they deliver your shipment-- So do be careful.

They will tell you a lot of things : I was told that the bad yelp reviews they received has been deliberately put there by competing moving companies.That other moving companies who charge you for space (by cu. ft) are doing something illegal.That he has been doing this for 39 years and he knows how much all the items in a house weigh.That they will call before a shipment leaves,tell you driver details and so on.

Summary :
Do not go with Top Line Moving unless you have a lot of money,time and breathe.
DO DO DO trust reviews.

These guys are shady... Tried to pressure me into signing a contract on the spot and did not want to give me time to think about it. I told the guy I needed to review it and he finally backed off. Shortly after this my family went through a recent crisis (grandfather has to be put in a very expensive nursing home due to his dementia worsening) and we were no longer able to afford the move. I told them this and they then proceeded to charge me anyways for a contract that was never signed or agreed to! And then had the nerve to say that my family crisis was 'fake' and that I was pathetic for lying to not be charged! Now I have to fight this ridiculous charge on top of all the other things I have to deal with... I am utterly disgusted with this company and the way they run their business. You can do much better than this in the area and they don't deserve your money. Avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid!

I did not want to do it myself because I knew you need experts for moving services. I used this company service and I must say they were great. They are experts in this field. This is the first time that I was able to get a wonderful moving services. You know why? The previous company that I asked for assistance did not care for my things. When they carried my appliances, they simply put everything down on the floor and even smash it. It's as if those are their properties. With Topline, they even question me where to put everything down in order for them to know if the things are to be broken if not handled with care etc etc. I was shocked that they care for my belongings. It was an extra service for me. I love them for doing that!

After looking online, I found Topline Moving company which provide moving services. I liked what they had to say and I hired them. I did not regret the decision. They give more than what they say.
