When we moved to the PNW 4 years ago I started researching fertility clinics to help us conceive our 2nd child. After having our son through IVF in Texas in 2016, we knew we would have to turn to fertility treatments again. Being overweight (a struggle with PCOS), finding a clinic that would help me seemed impossible (some wouldn’t let me even make an appointment until I was under a certain BMI), but ORH was amazing! Their ARNP, Jo, worked closely with me to achieve a weight loss goal and the entire IVF process was as easy as it could possibly be, even during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. I especially liked that they do a trial run on the embryo transfer to better understand your body and the best way to complete this procedure, as the clinic we used in Texas didn’t do this and it took two transfers (and all of our embryos) to get pregnant. At ORH I got pregnant on the first transfer and our sweet little girl, Nellis, is 6 months old today!! Although the clinic was usually busy (there aren’t many options on the area, so this makes sense), I never felt like just a number. Both doctors, Jo and Jamie, and all of the staff always remembered me, asked how our son was doing, etc. I highly recommend ORH to anyone who is struggling with infertility!
