House Of Chiu

This restaurant is nothing short of terrible. I guess the one lonely customer sitting at the table ordering from the takeout menu at 6:30pm on a Saturday evening should have been my first clue to pass on this experience. Upon looking at the "buffet" I noticed only 6 dishes of a possible 25-30. And the ones that were available looked as if they were left over from lunch. The fried rice looked like it had actually went back to its raw, hard, crunchy texture as before it was cooked. The 4 proteins available were like rubber especially the meatballs which honestly could have passed for large marbles. I am a fan of buffets and usually can put away 3-4 plates. This trip not even one. This by no means even comes close to edible and enjoyable food. The only part of the meal that was ok was my iced tea which washed the terrible taste out of my mouth from the food. Even the service was pitiful. No smiles, welcomes, or thank yous. I believe the employees are aware of their food but, have no desire or motivation to improve. I would STRONGLY steer away anyone who is considering eating here. Save your money, time, and Pepto Bismol for better uses.
