The Mattress Site Market of Marion

Promising when it first opened quite some time ago, but quickly went downhill.

This is a new junk flea market, not a vintage or collectors market. I don't have a clue as to why it's so crowded because there is not much of interest here.

You will find bungie cords, wire brushes, clamps and such at 'tool' vendors. Cheap Asian imported crap, clothing and resin statuettes and lots of other cheap decor. Sunglasses, hair bows, t-shirts, cheesey jewelry, sports cards, home improvement businesses with displays, cleaning products, bed sheet sets.....
Nothing is a good deal either. Everything is priced like normal store sales prices.

It's hard to move around because the public wanders as if they're are lost and block the rows.

Best /most interesting picks are aromatherapy oils, an occasional vendor with old stuff or clever handmade yard decorations, and.... the mini donuts.
There are some plants and produce, but no bargains or outstanding quality. (go to a farm market instead). Rows are nicely labeled.

BIGGEST TURN-OFF: Puppy Mill dogs plus birds and other animals (out in the FL heat all day too). It makes me phyically ill to see them and know they are abused. Those vendors are scum and shouldn't be allowed there.

I still go there occassionally to buy one item that I keep losing. Don't know where else to get it. Otherwise I step on the gas as I go by.

This place is great a lot of great deals and merchandise as well as a farmers market that is also great. Fun for all for sure. I seen 2 bad reviews but I completely disagree with a bad review for this place THIS PLACE IS GREAT CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF! I also like the guy out there selling pre owned DVD's that are all in excellent condition they have some real rare stuff he is located in row E for entertainment and has been there a long time.

if this place had a negitive point to rate i would give it a neg 50, management is rude unfair to most vendors, VERY HIGH PRICED., $75.00 a 10x10 booth and going up all the time, dirty, smelly restrooms, would never recremend this place to anyone....
