I went there for sometimes 21st birthday and after a few rounds of beer and shots the people started looking at my boyfriend and his brother like they were trouble. And honestly they weren't doing anything. They were just bowling and drinking and enjoying themselves. They might have been a little loud at times but over all they did nothing crazy. And it just seemed like from the moment we started bowling and drinking their staff gave us nothing but a "I don't like you" attitude. I've never experienced that anywhere. I know it's kind of a family place but then why do they have a bar right next to the bowling!? They are way too expensive I've had a better experience at a cheap run of the mill bowling alley.

Our kids LOVE this place! It is always super clean, games are working, and the staff is very friendly! I thought the prices were fair especially considering the beautiful design and construction of this place. It's huge with really nice decor. We've been a few times and always pleased!

I'm having difficulty writing this review, so I'm going to take it in sections.
We went to Big Al's on a Saturday night and arrived right about 8:00. Upon arrival we were told the wait for bowling was just over two hours. Holy cow...ok...our mistake for coming during the peak time. We put our name on the list, forked out some cash to the kids so they could go goof off while everyone waited and the adults headed to the bar. This is an utterly win/win situation for this company...multiple people in various directions spending money while waiting to spend more money; great business model.
The beer was overpriced, but it's expected to some degree. Our bartenders were cordial though not overly friendly. On a previous visit in the adults only sports bar our bartenders was great.
After getting our lanes (which took less than the two hours wait we were given originally) we were on our way. The waiter in the Slider Alley wasn't as on top of his game as he should have been. After receiving the food we'd ordered we needed additional condiments which we ended up getting ourselves even after our server delivered drinks at the lane right next to us and commented that he was still going to get what we'd requested.
Overall we'll definitely go back. Everyone in our group had a GREAT time. We'll just understand that we need a second job to finance it (kidding...kinda) and we'll avoid the busy periods.
