Pittman's Auto Service

I have been a satisfied customer of Pittman's for many years. Robin has always treated me with respect and honesty. I have taken my vehicles to his shop because he has integrity, I trust what he tells me.

I am sure many are satisfied with the service they have received from this garage but I am not. I had Pittman's pick up my car from my house and repair it. About 3 days later the car wouldn't start again. I called the garage and asked them if they could take another look at it. Robin said he was kind of busy and could not pick it up for at least three days and I was more than fine with that. A week went by and I called. He apologized and said he would pick it up the next day. Yet another week passed and I began to wonder if he was avoiding me because he knew something about the car or labor that wasn't good. I called Robin and again he said "I will get it the next day". I let a couple more days pass and went to his shop to speak with him directly. It has been 3 weeks now I didn't have a vehicle. He conveyed that he was too busy to get a tow truck to my house and suggested I push it there on my own. I had it towed by a third party to his shop that day. I should have known better to wait on him but I felt that maybe they installed something incorrectly and they should be responsible. He said my oil was low (which it wasn't) and that's why it wouldn't start. Needless to say the car is on it's way to another shop. I am very dissatisfied because Robin keep putting me on and did not have the common courtesy to be honest with me. I felt that he lied to me by making empty promises of picking up the car when he never did. I feel like I wasted $400 by going to them and the frustration of his verbal masturbation has made me very upset with how I was treated. I do not recommend Pittman's and if this other shop finds fault in the installation of the parts from Pittman's I will be bringing him the bill but I won't hold my breath.
