BC Nails

I just got done with a mani/pedi. Pedi I chose was deluxe. It was rushed, but ok. When I got to the mani part I wanted a buff, shine, and clear polish. I have a couple of ridges on 3 of my nails due to a medical condition. The person doing my mani not only laughed at my nails but also brought over his friend to laugh at me. I am a bilingual individual myself, I would NEVER talk/laugh about someone in my native language in their face like that! I left feeling very sad. If I could give this place no stars, I would.

Also, this place is dirty. No sterilization of equipment that I have ever seen over the last 7 years coming here (today my guy shook off my mani towel from another persons nails before reusing on me). Before kids believe it or not I was a regular. Now, I will never step inside again. Good luck BC nails

When filing down the acrylic, he would dig into my skin, going past the cuticle. the guy would smudge my nails w/ his glove and scoff at me, I was walking and another worker ran right out in front of me, swiped all the polish off of my right hand with his shirt and proceeded to yell “watch out” with an attitude. then I had to have my nails repainted. after he took the remaining nail polish off (rushed) there were a bunch of fuzzies sticking to my nails, he noticed and tried to get some off but just gave up and painted right over them. I had to pay extra for the shape I wanted, I asked for coffin and he gave me square shaped nails so I payed extra for nothing. I had to file them the way I wanted at home and I did a terrible job, but still did better than what he could do for me. Dealing with severe anxiety, I left crying and embarrassed. the emotional and physical pain I endured to get these nails was not worth my time or money.

Awful. Tried this place about 6 times and I had terrible service every time. They don't speak and rush you out of there. I had nails put on and they were thick and not even. Never going again. Waste of money.

I spent $140 on 3 people to get their nails done and all 3 were absolutely terrible. For me personally, they ruahed, did not file off ant of the access gel underneath my nails, when I got up to wash my hands they already put someone else in my chair so I had to stand bent down to allow the guy to finish painting my nails. Love this place very clean super nice people if you have a problem just speak with jimmy and he'll take care of you. My eye person is Linda and Nathan with Nathan and jimmy my favorite won't go to any body else

I usually give places 3 tries, but this place I have only been to twice and will not go back. Not for the lack of being courteous and clean. This is one of more cleanly places I have seen in Battle Creek. I got a horrible manicure both times I went. They appear to have only one person that does the Pink/White gel and he always rushes through the process, especially if there is someone waiting. Both of my experiences were bad. After paying top price I would have expected a better job, but you can see through the white in certain spots and he missed spots and the pink color that they have is not natural. To top it all off they are crooked. Highly disappointed in their work and I will not return.

Horrible work done here. They do not care about taking care of the nails. I could have did this at home!

I won't go to any other walk-in nail salon in Battle Creek. They are very nice and the place they are in is great and very clean. I recommend this place to anyone! The prices are reasonable as well. It is extra for certain things, like a design or French manicure. So make sure you ask before hand!

They really care about you and if you are unhappy with ANYTHING at all call and talk to Jimmy and he will make it right!!! I've been coming to them for about 3 years and never been sorry. And I am VERY PICKY!!

Do not go here! Bad service! The price of my mani and pedi changed 3 times. Even with the price list on the wall like I cannot count. I asked for a regular pedicure and got no lotion no massage. All he did is what I do when I give myself a pedicure! but the woman beside me got a nice massage, warm towels and we got the same service. Then to my manicure, No massage no lotion just soak,push cuticles back then he told me to wash. I asked him when was he gonna put the cuticle oil on and he refused to put it on my nails. This place is a rip off! I will never come here again!

I have been going to them for years now. They have always done my nails great and I've never had them break off or crack or anything. I am actually making my entire bridal party go there for their nails for my wedding this Sunday! They are fantastic. They have raised their prices but the service is worth it! They do my eyebrows better than the other places I have tried!

Beautiful salon. it's just too bad that they are overpriced and their nails do not last :(

I am not sure if you are thinking of the right place in regards to the first post. I have had my nails done there since they opened and they are the best in town. I have gone for two weeks without chipping or broken nails. I only pay 25.00 and my daughter gets something different for 35.00. Jimmy and Tammy are the best and make you feel like family. They go out of their way to make you happy! They offer refreshments and fast service. If they are very busy they let you know, so you are not sitting for hours waiting. You walk in or make an appointment. I can't say enough about the service, please don't let that one bad review talk you out of trying this place.

Very disapointed! The building is georgous and the people are super nice but as much as my friend and I paid to get our nails done they were not worth it at all! My friends nails broke and came off with in 2 days nothing she did would make that happen, and mine the coating is coming off! We just got them done saturday feb.16th and I will be going back to my normal place to get their screw up fixed! Very upset that we paid $40 dollars each and we have to pay more just days after!!!

These people have served me for many years. They've recently opened (Fall 2012) their new spa/salon on Capital Avenue. Jimmy is great with all types of nails, and Linda is my favorite at pedicures ... though all the professionals do a great job! Many happy faces every time I go!
