West Chimes Place Properties

The West Chimes apartments off of Wyoming Street has BED BUGS. My boyfriend lived there for a few months and kept complaining to the property manager, Diego (or Anna who doesn't speak English), and they did nothing. My boyfriend is extremely persistent and finally convinced them to call an exterminator who confirmed it was bed bugs along with roaches and other bugs all over the apartment. The owner refused to pay for the treatment and Diego proceeded to set "bug bombs" off without even warning my boyfriend. Again, my boyfriend is persistent and was able to leave the next month with his deposit, but you have to be a major pain to get anything accomplished with those people. And, if you are unaware, bed bugs are extremely difficult to get rid of without proper treatment. My boyfriend had to get rid of half his furniture, spend a ton of money washing EVERYTHING, and pay the extremely nice exterminator for the treatment. The best part is we found out later the person before him in that apartment had bed bugs, too. Bed bugs travel through the walls so if one apartment has them then they all will eventually. You have been warned!

This business establishment is very unprofessional. I have never experienced so much unfairness from a business that is here to serve the people. The rules are clearly stated in the lease of the things that are and are not permitted on the West Chimes Properties, however they are loudly overlooked when it comes to certain tenants and the property manager of this business. Some play music very loud; during the day, early in the morning, and very late at night. The property manager drinks and associates after hours with some tenants, also playing the music very loud. When the property manager drinks, he gets out of hand and begins to harass other people living on the premises. I understand that people like to have music on a little loud, but they should'nt overlook what some tenants do and not others. If the rules are for one person, they need to apply to everyone. The owner needs the knowledge of what is going on with his business and take charge before he looses his business because of someone else's mistakes. We shouldn't have to put up with any negative situations, especially, coming from management.
