        Overall

        Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. I will never recommend and will post as many bad reviews about Madison TV in Baton Rouge (just to make sure you all know which one I'm talking about) as possible. They charged me for a service and repair that never fixed the set. They continued to lie and make up excuses as to why they didn't respond to messages left on their answering machine. To you Mr. Madison: You should have manned up and refunded my money for the service you never completed. What you did was wrong and deceitful.

        TV Repair

        I took my television set to Madison TV in October 2009. By December 2009, the TV was not repaired and Madison informed me they still needed to order additional parts. Madison never contacted me to inform me of anything concerning my TV set. If I didn't call them, there was no communication at all. After having the TV set in the repair shop for 2 months, I decided that 2 months was long enough for Madison to either repair the TV or inform that a repair was not possible. I will never do business w/ Madison TV service again.

        We are sorry the customer was upset. Some old model tv's needing circuit repairs are very time consuming. If they call us in less then a 5 day week, that is equal to a contact with the customer. We are sorry we can not give customers day by day update on their repair in progress. We do advise the reason for delays. Time is expensive. Some customers terminate the repair after approving the needed additional time. Some times specialized parts like Sharp are no longer available. No one will pay the hourly labor rate to give them priority. Most shops only replace expensive circuit boards when available. U S manufactures no longer exist. We do our best to accommodate.
