Affordable Dentures

If I could give them a zero I would...ugh!! I went there 2 years ago to get a full set of dentures. Mind you, the last set I got 25 years ago for $125.00 at a same day place in Pell City Al. NEVER had a problem with those, but eventually they became yellowed and needed replacing. I chose Affordable Dentures because it was same day dentures. Boy was that the BIGGEST mistake of my life. I didn't buy the economy set, I bought the ultra set that cost $1200.00. Wasn't two or three months a tooth fell out on the top. Went back and they replaced it free of charge. Not quite a year later another one fell out on top. Had to pay $125.00 for them to put it back in. About a month and a half later, the one right beside it fell out!! They wanted to charge me another $125.00 to replace that one!! I told the that something was wrong with that picture. I wore a set of $125.00 dentures for 25 years and NEVER lost a tooth. I guess they make dentures for looks and not for eating because the teeth fall out. I told them to kiss it and I put my now 27 year old top plate back in and it's still going strong. Don't waste your money at this place. As soon as I can, I'll get another set but not here. Anybody know of a place that does quality dentures in a short time??

I DONT THINK THEY HAVE ANY DENTAL TRAINING.THE INCOMPETENCE WAS PALPABLE THE MAN COULDNT EVEN TELL IF I HAD A CAVITY ON THE XRAY

I Visited Affordable Dentures For A Consultation.They Were SO Rude!I Thought The Primary Concern In Businesses Was Customer Service!!!Some How They Missed That Memo!Its Embarassing To Admit This Is A Full African American Staff.But Color Isn't The Issue Because I Too Am African American.But I Just WISH I Could Say All Positive Things About This Establisment!Upon Entering They Were Congregating Behind The Front Desk.Then I Waited 20 Minutes Without Anyone Being Called To The Back.Once Getting To The Back I Then I Told Them About The Use Of Gloves & The Proper Use Of Gloves Before Touching Into My Mouth.He 1st Came Into The Room With Gloves Already & Then Touched The Light & Started To Head For My Mouth.The Dentist Proceeded To Head Back To The Front Desk & Talk About Me To The Receptionist.So I Quickly Gathered My Things & Left.& Of Course He Was Standing Talking Catty-Like To The Receptionist Before That I Apologized If I Came Off The Wrong Way.But How Can U Preach Good Dental Hygiene But Don't Practice It!

the drs here do not promise wine and cheese and fuzzy slippers but i have found them to be both kind and efficient..i have been to this business quite a few times since i have very bad teeth and i have never been treated with anything but true concern and kindness..dr robertson and dr barrenco are very good dentists...

if your teeth are worth saving go elsewhere as they are concerned with extractions dentures and partials...i have a partial from there and it has been great..

i even dropped it and broke it in half and they fixed it the same day..

they are not full of frills and gimmicks,,,its sit down ,lets take care of your problem and you are out.

I wouldn't send a "stray" dog there for dentures. They are absolutely positively HORRIBLE!!!!! The wait is "unbelievable" ... they tell you to be there for 7:30 .. but you REALLY need to be there for like 7:00 as the line piles from the door to well past the end of the building. After you "finally" get in the "front door" ... you WAIT and WAIT and WAIT some more! So you think, "for the price, I can wait" ... that isn't even the beginning of it. The dentures they make look HORRIBLE, don't fit right and are impossible to wear ... and don't even think about trying to eat in those bad boys!!! And yes, that is even after going to many, many, many re-fitting appointments ... where again, I had to WAIT and WAIT and WAIT some more. Basically, if you plan to go there don't expect much and plan on spending your ENTIRE day there ... in fact, plan on spending "several" ENTIRE days there. After SEVERAL sets of new dentures the "doctor" finally said, "You either take what I give you or go some place else." (professional attitude, 'ey? ...) ... Needless to say, that wasn't a hard decision to make ... I requested a refund (which took me over three weeks to get), grabbed my money and ran like a bat out of hell!!!! Now, you may be thinking.... "So "YOU" had a bad experience ... surely not "everyone" has this hard of a time". I beg to differ with you on that note. EVERYONE and I do mean EVERYONE that I have spoken to have all complained about ALL of the "same exact problems". If the quality of dentures were "ok" ... not even perfect, or near perfect, for the price I would have been willing to "accept" it. But the quality was "beyond" acceptable. (You know those cartoon duck with the really big teeth ... yeah ... that's it! A donkey doesn't even come close to how bad they were!) And we arn't even going to go into the staff ... much less the dentist himself. Actually, the staff was MUCH better than the dentist ... his "not so nice" attitude was apparent from the very first visit ... you can only imagine how lovely it was after my ... 20th visit! Anyway, they can pull teeth for a reasonable price, but I STRONGLY advise against anything else. Best of luck!!!!
