General Info

The Department of Health and Social Services, governed by the North Slope Borough government in Alaska, provides a range of physical and behavioral health programs and services for residents. It focuses on prevention, education and training and develops partnerships with local, regional, tribal, state, federal, nonprofit and private health care providers. The department s programs include Arctic Women In Crisis and Inupiat Teens Taking Control.
