Dosier Rockwood Kennel

I visited this kennel with my family on 9/4/21 and the owner of this kennel (Lee) threatened to put a bullet in my dog's head! He yelled at my family (which included my 5 year old son) to get the F off his property. The owner scared my dog so badly that my dog urinated on the floor which upset this man even more! This crazy experience all started when my husband walked into the kennel and witnessed the owner banging on the cages inside the kennel multiple times while yelling at the small dogs inside these cages to "shut the F up!" My husband knew right then that we would not be leaving our dog here as this man was clearly scaring the dogs, and this behavior was totally unacceptable! My dog was already uneasy at this point after hearing the owner yell and bang on the cages. This was an awful experience for my family and we have NEVER seen behavior from anyone like this! Send your dog to Pet Retreat in the Dells, or better yet use ROVER so your dog doesn't have to sit in a cage all day and be treated poorly! We travel with our dog EVERYWHERE. He is FAMILY. We leave him at kennels or with dog sitters for a few hours each day so that we can do activities with our son, and we have NEVER had an awful experience like this! Please don't let this person watch your dog!

Also, I tried to post my review on the Rockwood kennel Google page unsuccessfully. I finally contacted Google and found out that the owner is hiding and deleting bad reviews so that they don't show up on his page and hurt his business. Trust me when I say I'm not the only person that has had a bad experience here. I'm working with Google to have my review posted back on his page so people can be warned about the true experience of this kennel and the owner.
