Please don't ever use this company. My home warranty service sent them, and while the response was quick, the service was rotten. In fact, the tech made a false report tto AHS, and they denied the service. Oddly enough, they are no longer answering my calls.

This place is a rip off. They do not have a good warranty orservice policy. They want you to pay $75.00 prior to having a service call, and claim they will return your money if covered by the warranty. FAT CHANCE OF THAT HAPPENING!!! Do not give this company your business. The store is always empty, that should tell you something ,

Reliable and affordable too

I read the reviews but knew they had been in the area since I was a youngster..so tried them anyway and am glad that I did too! Our refrigerator stopped working just before the holidays. I know I called close to the company closing time, but explained my situation and the owner came out himself and quickly discovered what the problem was and was able to resolve it right there and then & with no overtime or additional feesaving our holiday plans. I would recommend them to others.

Don't Use these Criminals at Target Appliance

They made a promise to me to move a refridgerator into my home by removing the door and when the delivery men arrived they said it was not in the contract. I called Target to have them authorise the door removal and was called a liar! The men refused the phone when the screaming irate owner demanded to speak to them. They informed me "Lady you don't to mess with him" I think these men don't know slavery ended 145 years ago. They were then called on a cell and took off without a word. They left the fridge standing in the middle of the room and never removed the old one. I had to hire an alternate company to finish the work. They are clearly in breach of contract and practice intimadation.I stopped payment on my check and will expose them in court.

Rude, terrible service, unable to repair appliance

unbelievably rude, on the phone and in person. Never fixed my stove, said they needed a part and would need more money to finish the repair. You will regret it if you hire Target Appliance.

The Worst Service

The owner is very rude. He is just interested in taking your money. He doesn't even know what he is doing. Told us our dryer needed new wheels for the dryer drum to turn without noise. Guess what the wheels looked great and weren't the problem the dryer still makes a terrible noise. The owner of Target Appliance Co. was in my home looking at my dryer and talking about killing two cats in his warehouse with poison. This place should be closed down. Stay clear of this place. The owner is a terrible human being, gives terrible service if any.

TERRIBLE SERVICE

They were supposed to show up on Friday, never showed & I did not receive a call either. 5 days later when I was finally able to get ahold of them I was told their previous service stop ran over. But they couldn't pick up the phone to call me & tell me they weren't going to show?????

Then when the technician finally came (another 2 days later) he looked at my washer & said he didn't know what was wrong, so he would have to call the tech support line for that machine. Then he insisted I pay him $60 for diagnosing the problem (which he didn't even do). I didn't feel comfortable paying him b/c he did not seem to know what he was doing, but per our home warranty I had to pay him the $60.

Then I waited to hear from him regarding what the problem was, but he never called back. Another 5 days later, I was able to get ahold of him & he said, "Oh, your warranty company was supposed to call you, your machine isn't broken, you're just not putting a big enough load of laundry in it, so I don't need to come back." GRRRRRR- if my machine was working, I wouldn't be calling a repair company & it's not just that I'm putting too few items in each load. Come on, I've been dealing with this washer problem for several months now & it's gotten progressively worse. Like I need to pay a technician $60 to tell me to run bigger loads in the wash. So now I'm out $60 & my washer still doesn't work. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT & DISHONEST.

Unreal

I thought I was dreaming. I have never been treated more rudely by a company that depends on customer service over the phone. Thank goodness I was able to cancel the work order that was scheduled through my insurance company, but the mechanic showed up anyway and then ran over my driveway light.

STAY AWAY!!

My washing machine stopped working in late July. Specifically, water would not come into the machine. I called my home warranty company AHS and they assigned Target Appliances as the contractor for the job. Well, a technician from Target came, ripped apart my machine and determined that some valve needed to be replaced. After almost 2 months of dealing with various excuses from Target and AHS (who I would not recommend as a home warranty company, by the way) including... "The part has not come in yet", "the technician is on vacation", "the wrong part was ordered", "AHS did not give us approval to order the correct part" and so forth, the technician finally came back to my house on Tuesday, September 16, 2008. He replaced the valve and was bale to get hot water to come into the machine. But the cold water was still not working. I suggested that perhaps there was something wrong with the hoses that connect my water valves on the wall to the washing machine because I had flood-safe hoses and a friend of mine told me that these hoses stop water flow if there is a leak or if the flow is very strong. The technician told me:

"That is not the problem, mam. You have a water temperature gauge problem and I'm not going to be able to fix it because Sears (my machine is a Kenmore brand) isn't going to share information I need to fix the machine so your Home Warranty Company is going to have to assign a Sears technician now."

Well, the technician left and 5 minutes after he left, the hot water stopped coming into my machine. I immediately called Target and informed them what happened. Then I called my friend and had him come over the next day to look at the machine. We replaced the hoses and GUESS WHAT? The water to flow and the machine was working again!

The technician obviously had no idea what he was doing. In fact, my machine is quite noisy now when it runs and I attribute that to the fact that the technician wasn't very careful when he pulled apart my machine and put it back together. He basically abused it. And to totally ignore my suggestion that the hoses could be the problem?!?! There is simply no excuse for that. I may not be an expert, but he should have at least looked. Frankly, shame on me for not changing the hoses before I called AHS. But I didn't do so because I was afraid I might make something worse and I didn't want to be accused of breaking the machine myself.

But never use Target Appliances. Never never never. You will be sorry.

Horrible Service

I wish I had looked on this website before using this company. Our Home Service Warranty company referred this company.... after a delayed arrival in an unmarked vehicle, they came, took our cash, left saying they needed another part and doubt they would have fixed it. However, because they were so rude on the phone with me, I cancelled their return and filed a report with our Warranty company.

The WORST I have experienced!

This company was referred by my home warranty company for my refridgerator repair. My service request was sent over on Monday 4/14/08 it is now 4/17/08 and they have not been out for the "emergency repair". They called to schedule a time and then stated that they only accept CASH, no checks or credit cards. How is that one is going to have enough cash on hand to cover an unknown repair? The customer service was HORRIBLE...I was told "I will see when I can get to you". Please NEVER use this company! After dealing with them for 3 days, I decided to check for complaints against them...glad I did. I called my home warranty and asked for another company to handle my repair.

THEY WERE PAID TO FIX MY REFRIGERATOR ON 4-4-08. THEY DID NOT FIX ANYTHING, THEY JUST TOOK THE MONEY AND RAN. IT'S NOW 4-11-08 AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT COME OUT TO FIX MY REFRIGERATOR. I HAVE A SMALL CHILD AND NEED A REFRIGERATOR. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING EXCEPT TAKING YOUR MONEY. THEY HAVE INEXPERIENCE TECHNICIANS AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT'S ALMOST 2 WEEKS WITH NO FRIGE.

WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT LET THIS COMPANY IN YOUR HOUSE...YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!!
