Joseph Richey House opened in 1987 as MD's 1st freestanding hospice care facility. We are a non-profit, Medicare & Medical Assistance certified, CHAP accredited, members of National Hospice & Palliative Care Org., and Hospice and Palliative Care Network of MD. Hospice Care is provided in your home, assisted living home, or our inpatient facility to persons diagnosed by a physician as having a terminal illness. Our care is palliative. Our primary goal is to ease the pain and symptoms associated with terminal disease.

Location

parking lot is located at the corner of Madison and Martin Luther King Blvd. Contact us for a parking permit. Enter through the black gates in the back of our building. Our front door is located across Eutaw Street from Maryland General Hospital's parking garage. Look for the yellow doors.
