After my hair being damage by going to the Dominican hair salon, I was fed up. Found her website followed by the great reviews, and the experience was more than expected, she very honest and professional. Did not wait long which is always a perk, my hair feels and looks amazing. Will be going back!

My daughter and I went to get our hair done and we were pleased with our hair. She made sure we were satisfied with our hair. I will be going back to her.

I learned about a Touch of Te after reading a number of positive comments and testimonials on the internet. I feel that if these people take time out of their busy day to sit down and share their hair care experience, then there must be something special about the Shonte.



I started receiving hair care services from A Touch of Te several months ago and figured that its about time that I take time out of my day to share with you my thoughts.

I see why people have so many nice things to say about Shonte’. Not only is she a professional hairstylist and can put out some serious hair styles (be they conservative or trendy), but more importantly has a PASSION about her work! I’ve seen her create nice hair styles with clients who have different types of hair (short, long, and weaved). She will literally go out of her way to make sure that her client is satisfied with the end result. Prior to Shonte, I had been going to a very high end beauty salon, where you pay high prices and the stylists weren’t all that great when it came to “service”. Shonte is down to earth, on time with her clients, and insists that you are satisfied before leaving.



Overall, I get quality hair care with Shonte and will continue to use her services.

I visited a Touch of Te' to get my hair done. The atmosphere was very professional and friendly. I received a wave noveaux, and the service and results were excellent! I definitely plan to return to A Touch of Te. Thanks!!

I am from New Orleans, LA. currently residing in the DC area and have been looking for a stylist who would put a smile on my face like my old one did. Yesterday, 3/19/2011, that stylist was discovered at A Touch of Te'



This stylist works with all types of hair which is a plus for me since I have gone natural. Some salons that I have visited do not like to take natural clients if they are not getting a wash and go or a weave because of the straightening process. This is not the case with this salon.* <A BIG PLUS!!!!!!!!! *>



I was her last client of the day and got to see the end results of previous clients. Needless to say, all of the styles were nice and the clients left happy. As I sat and watched, I said to myself, very nice.



My choice of style was a quick weave. I have never worn a quick weave the way that I am wearing this one (still smiling ).



Will I visit again? Of course,! Best one yet!

I look TOO FABULOUS these days and am so happy that I found Te'.



I've been a new customer since last month, and when I first arrived at TOUCH OF TE', I was not ignored or felt as if I was in the way, instead TE' and her staff, greeted with professionalism, a smile and respect for my time.



Before I found Touch of Te', it seemed like I couldn't find a stylist to listen to MY needs so, the results were always disappointing and I stopped going.



But, Te' took the time to listen to what I needed from my new cut, style and even my color, which she customized just for me. Did I mention that I looked TOO FABULOUS for words when I left her salon - YESSSS, I found MY STYLIST.



Now, when I enter a room, all eyes are on my new "DO" which suits me and makes me feel even more like "myself" -- professional, confident, and sexy and its because of TOUCH OF TE'.



Te' is a true highly-skilled stylist and she "worked" my color, my cut and my style and people now ask me "Who Did Your Hair?"

I just want to express that after years of searching for a hair stylist that actually took the time and listened to what I wanted and actually did it, finally happened yesterday. I mean she took my breath away when I was finished and my hair was beautiful. What impressed me the most that she was very outgoing and warm and u could talk and trip with her and have a good time at the same time your hair is being evolved into something spectacular. Shontae I have to give to you, your a miracle worker. I am so so glad I found you. Thank you so much. Not only can she style but her assistant was amazing with her hands as she shampooed my hair and also was very nice to me. Most importantly they took the time to nourish my hair and @ the same time she was reasonable with her prices! Girl, I'll definitely see you next week. Where have you been all this time!!!!

I am new customer for Shonte' and have been going to her for about 3 weeks. She is truly a professional and provide great service. I have long relaxed hair that had been damaged and she was able to determine the cause of the damage and has been working to help reverse this. I would and have been recommending her to friends looking for a new stylist.

I have been going to Shonte for about eight (8) years and through that time we have gained a friendship. Shonte is truly a talented stylist and will put forth the best needs for your hair. One of the traits that I admire about Shonte is her honesty. She will let you know what style looks best on you and will not allow you to leave her salon appearing less than perfect. Went to Shonte' to get a touch-up because my usual stylist was unavailable. I was really impressed. She really treated my hair and did a great job styling it. My hair looks just like I have always wanted it to. Definitely going back to A Touch of Te'!

she does some really great and unique short hair styles, that will NOT be my last time there........oh and i wasnt there allllll day like some places!
