After the winter of 2014, we knew we had to upgrade our HVAC system. Or move to Florida. Our system from 2009 was – on paper at least – adequate for our home. But heating our home during that long cold winter cost a fortune in electricity.



We contacted several local HVAC contractors. Most proposed systems with slightly better specs than our current system. Their approach seemed to be to back into the budget we had for the project.



Cheshire was different. He took the time to understand what we really wanted to accomplish. Cheshire also told us we did not need a few features that we thought we needed (based on what others had proposed). He recommended a cost-effective approach that enabled us to get a Carrier system (generally considered the best brand based on everything we had read) that fit our budget.



Once we said yes, everything went smoothly. Cheshire’s team arrived on schedule. They were professional and polite. It was evident that they had worked together a long time. Everyone knew exactly what to do; no time or motion was wasted.
