The new owners totally changed this motel. It was not great and I almost didn't go there but saw new owners. It is now amazing with new beds and super clean and actual modern TV's . This place is the best place to go anywhere near Baldwin. It is safe for families and I felt at home there. I felt it was better than any place within 100 miles. There is a lot to do there with Wolf lake trails and the Fishing and Hunting and just Family fun. I am really fussy and won't go to many motels but the new owners deserve your business because they worked hard to make it perfect. If your a hunter see my photo of what I say 2 miles away.

Provided by Superpageswe've stayed with Day Star for several years and the rooms are always spotless,the bedding is always fresh and clean smelling ,as the owner says the only thing you get with her bedding is snuggle fabric softner!!and every time we stay it's always what we get.They go out of there way to make sure your comfortable and have everything you need,we really hate to stay anywhere else,but have had to a couple of times cause we didn't make reservations ahead of time and they had no rooms available,so call early !!!!! It's just a great place with the lake right across the street and atv trails we can now leave right from the motel to get to. Linda
JUST SPENT FOUR NIGHTS AT DAY STAR, YOU CAN,T FIND NICER HOST ANYWHERE
THE ROOMS ARE MODERN AND VERY VERY CLEAN, NOT THE RITZ BUT GIVEN THE CHOICE OF MOTELS IN BALDWIN THIS PLACE TOPS THEM ALL.WE WERE ABLE TO LEAVE FROM MOTEL ON OUR SLEDS TO GET ON THE TRAILS WHICH ARE IN PERFECT CONDITION WE WERE TOLD TRAILS WERE NOT BEING GROOMED THATS NOT TRUE ALL THE TRAILS IN LAKE CO.WERE GROOMED AND WE PUT RIGHT UNDER 400 MILES ON .SO IF YOU WANT FRIENDLY HOST THAT GO ALL OUT TO MAKE YOU FEEL WELCOMED AND BEDDING THAT SMELLS SO FRESH AND CLEAN YOU DON'T WANT TO GET OUT OF BED STAY HERE YOU WON'T BE DISAPOINTED!!
THEIR MASCOT TAGGER IS PRETTY COOL TOO,HE'S A LITTLE DOG I TRIED TO TAKE HOME WITH ME BUT TONY AND LISA SAID THAT WAS ONE THING THEY COULDN'T HELP US WITH,BUT I DID GET TO TAKE HIM FOR A WALK!!
