Excellent Onsite manager always on top of maintenance! I lived here for more than 3 years. Finally bought a house because I had a growing family. Excellent location to live. Yea maybe there was ambulance once in a while but not something you can't deal with. Bakersfield has some pretty bad areas and I can say this is one of there best!

The manager here will find any way she can to charge you extra money. She is never in the office during office hours. Some old man told her that he saw my boyfriend break the gate to the pool area when he was trying to fix it cuz he grabbed it and a bar fell off, so when we paid our rent she deducted the amount it costed to fix the gate from our rent so that we would have to pay her a late fee because our rent was short 80$(because she took that money out to fix the gate) She raises the rent every year. It's now at 775$ when the walls break, appliances break weekly, right this second I'm waiting for her to get back to her office so I can tell her about something else that quit working. The management is just plain unprofessional!!

My rent was always on time, I never was loud or rude to my neighbors even if they didnt do the same to me and I followed all the rules even though some of them are so ridiculous.They neighbors are not the down fall of this apartment complex its the management. She is lazy, hardly ever in the office and has this childish game, she picks people she likes and she picks people she doesnt. The people she doesnt seem to like are the ones who will find this place a childish and poorly managed complex. The manager will find every little thing to write you up for till either you move voluntarily or until she finally finds a way to evict you. I lived there for about a little over a year and I have seen her let some people get away with bending the rules and ive seen her make others follow then word to word. She likes to gossip about residents with maintenance, other residents and grounds keepers about personal information that shouldnt be discussed with others. She is hardly ever in the office when she is supposed to be. When something needs to be fixed or replaced in your apartment she will forget unless you remind her everyday. She will purposely do the walk through sloppy and doesnt mark down things you point out during the walk through then she will take it out of your deposit when you move. If they replaced management here I would gladly move back. A few words of advice if you choose to live here is 1. Very carefully do the walk through 2. Never have a conversation with her if you dont want it told to everyone around you 3.If you need something done I suggest you keep reminding her daily. 4. Know your rental laws because she will try to tell you that she can do things that she can not do without your permission. Hope this is helpful to you. I wish someone warned me before I foolishly choose this to be my home!
