My Husband and I just Recently moved in from out of town and had gone to all the big named furniture stores and found that there pricing was just out of this world ,then happen to stop by MV Home Furnishings and found that the same quality of merchandise was the same or better and the savings is great, We purchased an entire house full of furniture it was all delivered in a timely manner and the customer service was great.I recommend everyone to stop by and check it out for your self...HUGE SAVINGS...LOVE IT

Original service was okay, had to order chair for husbands Christmas present, came as planned. When we got box home, had no idea it would be in a hundred pieces, had to assemble every screw, spindle, etc. Right off the bat, chair was very light weight, not at all what I was expecting. Within 3 weeks of use the left arm of chair had broke, not due to misuse or rough housing, just faulty craftsmanship in my opinion. I called MV Home Furnishings and spoke with my saleslady Andrea, took all pertinent info and said she would call me back....1 1/2 weeks later, no call. I called again and spoke with Larry, took all info again and said he would have to get back with me. When he called back, to basically tell me the furniture was not under any warranty from manufacture and that I should try to fix it myself. When I explained to him we did, he told me that I could bring the chair in and he could try to fix it "if I thought he was smarter then me", He continued to say that there was nothing he could do or would do. I explained to him that "you know how this works then, I tell two friend and they tell two friends and so on and so on... He responded by do whatever you need to do. Amazing to me that in this economic time this owner is not willing to at least try to make this wrong right. Well, will never patronize this place again....cheesy establishment and horrible customer service...I would have given 1/2 a star if possible.

My experience with the manager named Larry was also the worst experience possible. He told me I could not have my money back after I asked for it because of his rudeness on the phone then had the nerve to ask me if I was a "tough guy". When I went down there to talk to him in person he told me his name was Tom and that Larry was gone. I found out who he was and told him I was going to the Better Business Bureau and he offered me free furniture if I would take it no further. I hope he didn't plan on stealing this furniture from the owner. I turned down his offer and will be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau tomorrow afternoon. PLEASE, NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE! On the phone you would think this guy was 10 feet tall and bullet proof. In person he is a sad and very small man.

I purchased a bed for my son and paid in full, I was told the bed would be ready for pick up that weekend. I was later called by the owner who claims his name is "Larry" and told that there would be an almost month delay. I was dissapointed but agreed to wait. When the delivery date came I called and was once again told it was not ready but was guarenteed that it would be ready in two additional weeks. I called to check on the status of the order the day it was promised but was unable to reach "Larry". I went into the store the following day and requested that my funds be returned because I had not been given my merchandise. After 45 minutes he finally agreed to give me my money back and snatched my credit card rudely out of my hand, and supposedly completed the transaction to return my money. He also refused to give me my original oder reciept back! It has now been two weeks and the money has not been returned to my bank account and "Larry" is impossible to locate. I am placing a complaint about this horrible company to the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT SHOP THERE!!
