Waited 15 mins for food just now screw this place

This is a little McDonald's inside a Chevron Quick Stop. It's better than most gas station eateries and it's very busy at rush hour. It's the only McD's this far west in Bakersfield and it gets a lot of the Rosedale area business. As busy as they are they are fast friendly and most important they usually get you order right, even in the drive through. This location used to have a local theme featuring pictures and such from local recording artists like Buck Owens. They have recently redecorated with a more generic decor.

Okay, here I am again fortunately; but this time, it is my duty to tell you about this store. Why? Well, let's face it, fast food restaurants vary. Some are good, but some are veeeeeerry bad, so please read up reviews by fellow community members before you go anywhere.



Now, on to this store. What was it I was going to say? :?

Oh yeah, this store sucks. Why? I mean, just look up its location on google's maps. It is jointed with a Chevron, a Chevron gas station at that. Who would even THINK to have a Big Mac while filling their car? That's just plain greedy of the corporation to even want to put one here like this.



And another thing, everyone here is so rude. Don't smile, don't give gestures, don't give thank you's, you name it. Even the owners are rude, which was really a surprise to me when I encountered that phenomenon. They would delay interviewing young girls and boys alike, and right after they had already set up a specific time to review potentials. This was not what I remembered as a child. What happened here? The employees are mean jerks, and yet there is a sign saying "We are looking for brand new smiles!" Does this sound fishy to you guys? :?



Plus the service is slow and painful. The consumers here need to go to work, but they have to deal with these people. Well, I am not one up for grabs at this place! I'll go put my money in the bank where it belongs.



Terrible food, terrible terrible food. The vegetable toppings leave little to satisfy, especially for McD standards. The meat is okay; however, it needs more temperature. They cannot get one order right here, they think it's okay to mess up because it's "cheap." Dude, I could get a dozen hamburgers at the Win-Co supermarkets for $10, so no, $5 for a combo meal is NOT cheap.



So in conclusion, I could suggest to you, my friends, to stay the heck away from this store. Besides, there are better locations anyway. Why would people feel obligated to come here when there are McDonald's stores by the Valley Plaza mall? Give those a shot!
