Comfort Dental

Today my Daughter, who is 4 years old, had her first appointment to see the dentist. I wanted it to be a kid friendly environment so she wouldn't be scared, so I picked smileland dental (east hills office) Her appointment was at 4:45pm. I arrived 15 minutes early so as to fill out the appropriate new patient paper work on time. By 5:30pm I had watched 3 other patients ask how much longer it would take and that they had already taken sooooo long. So when I asked how much longer it would take for us, they told me 45 more minutes. So I was to basically wait an hour and a half for a dental check up. I left. That was just redicolous. I might as well have just been a walk in. I thought to myself that maybe the southwest might be different. So I then went to visit the office on Ming. Out of curiosity I asked the the patient in front of me, who was in line to make a follow up appointment, if she had an appointment and how long she had been waiting. She told me her appointment was at 2:30pm and that she had been there four hours. Another mother had been waiting an hour for her appointment and said when she walked in there was no sitting space. I know there is money to be made, but at what point does customer service come in and time management. I don't understand. I am really discusted at the way you guys choose to rediculosly choose to overbook and I think you need to change that. I will be finding another pediatric dentist and tell everybody I can that smileland dental is just a big waste of time. Sincerely, a very tired and fustrated mother

Unless u have all day to waste, I suggest you don't take your children to this dentist. If you schedule an appointment, make sure you don't need to do anything else that day. First of all, wait time w/apt is minimum 3 hrs. Second, if your kid needs work done, you have to come back later in day or wait a month or two to get it fixed. And emergency work is an all day wait as well. Why is it considered EMERGENCY WORK but you have to wait either all day or even a month to get said EMERGENCY WORK done?!?!?

WORST DENTIST OFFICE TO TAKE KIDS TO!!!! JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE IPADS AND VIDEO GAMES? DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!!! HALF OF THE TIME THE GAMES DON'T WORK And The manager would rather argue with you instead of trying to reason with you

Better off going elsewhere for dental work. It is a waste of time and the office manager has a mouth on her and makes false accusations against people. She is a terrible manager and I would never hire her.

SmileLand on Ming is by Far the worst Dentist I have ever stepped foot into! Ive taken my child there a few times and everytime the same thing. They called the day of the appointment and rescheduled for the next day. Then when we arrived for our 3oclock appointment(which we arrived 30 min early for) they told us they wouldnt be able to see us until around 430! I was pissed to say the least but I kept my composure and politely complained. When I complained the large hispanic woman copped an attitude bigger than the mole on her neck (which is gigantic!!! I give smileland 2 stars out of 10 and the only reason they got the 2 stars is bc they have Ipads for the kids to play on while they wait but given the number of childer I seen licking them I didn't let my child go use them!!
