Tk's Country Pools

I highly recommend NOT doing business with these people. They have HORRIBLE customer service. Last year I went here to get the professional advice on how to treat my pool. I told the girl the exact measurements of my pool and SHE figured out the amount of water it contained. The thing is SHE miscalculated it and gave me 10 times the amount of muratic acid and other chemicals I needed. I just assumed she did the calculation correctly and added the chemicals I bought in the amount she told me. The next day my daughter and her friends got in. My daughter started screaming her skin was burning then her friends said theirs burned too. We got out of the pool immediately. My daughter and her friends had chemical burns all over. My daughter still has the scars a year later. My husband looked over the information when he got home and said the employee gave me directions for 18,000 gallons instead of 1,800 ( it was a small pool). I contacted the owner and showed her the paperwork with chemical amounts and directions I was given. I was nice and calm and only asked that she fix the problem and pay for my daughter to go to the doctor. She refused to pay the doctor visit but did give my daughter a couple of pool toys for her and her friends. She also gave me the stuff to fix the problem. I really could have sued but chose not to, even after her employee admitted that SHE made the miscalculations. So today I called to see if they still had the corrected pool information on file from last year because I wanted to give them another chance (I like to shop local). I was told that I needed to find another pool supply because she did everything she could and I left her a bad Google review which brought her stars down. I would the OWNER of the place would say thank you for giving us another chance after the horrible mistake my employee made last year and the pain your daughter suffered. Nope she chose to blame me for the problem even though she knows her employee admitted to making the mistake. I guess I should reconsider taking legal action since she clearly isn't concerned that my daughter is scarred probably for life due to their error. I am making sure I give her the proper review everywhere I can. So be aware of the people you are dealing with if you choose to use this place.
