My husband and I had an excellent experience with Kittle's Rooms Express in Avon, thanks to store manager Pamela Smith. The store had a very good selection of mattresses, which is what we were looking for, and they also had a good selection of furniture for the rest of the house. The prices were very good, so we also decided to get a small couch and recliner. I would say the only downside to this visit was the time we were there, as it was about 2 hours or more total. It took a while to get all the financing and paperwoek done. However, since we got exactly what we needed, and Pamela was so helpful, I would still definitely give 5 stars. Thank you!

My husband and I were looking for a new mattress set. We picked one out at Kittle's in Avon. We went on a Saturday and they said they could deliver it on the following Saturday. I told the sales associate we had plans in the late afternoon/evening on delivery day and she said, "oh, they do not deliver in the afternoons". Ok. They call the day before and tell us delivery will be in the late afternoon/evening hours. I had to reschedule. Then they deliver the following week with no box spring. They told us box spring was included. We even had a discussion with the sales associate that we needed everything because we currently had no king bed. We even needed a metal frame. Needless to say we still have no complete bed. Don't trust what sales associates tell you and make sure they actually order what you need/that all they told you is most certainly included in the price.

My girlfriend and I purchased a couch and chair that were 65% off in store. We also had a 10% coupon that we received in the mail, that also stated that paying the full amount upfront would take off another 5%.3 different people confirmed that this deal was valid for us. We paid for delivery and were ecstatic as the couch and chair were nice.



The delivery didn't go well as the furniture would not make the cut in our hallway to clear the front door of our apartment, and Kittles was nice enough to return the furniture and offer us an in store credit. We talked with the store manager and explained the discounts we'd received before and she said as long as we came in the next weekend to pick something out, we'd receive the same deal. We spent several hours that Saturday going over furniture and picking out some other pieces that were modular and would surely fit into our apartment. Throughout this process we once again worked with several employees who were aware of the deal we were getting. After giving us the wrong price several times due to faulty math, we finally got our numbers to match up and they then informed us afterwards it would be a month and a half until we would receive our couch. We decided that we could wait and didn't cancel that order, and over that night we made peace with what happened. That following day, the store manager called to say that they never do discounts more than 65% off and that we'd have to pay the difference, meaning that they were now refusing to honor the coupon we brought in even though the purchase had already gone through twice now and we were assured that we were given it. In fact, if the first couch had fit in our apartment we would have received it for that price. We told her we wanted a full refund if that was the case. She said she'd check with her distributor and get back to us Monday. 3 days later (Wednesday) she calls and says they cannot do our order for that price.



The moral of the story here for us was that they were more interested in saving money on one purchase than making us life long customers. Due to a lack of knowledge mistake made by the in-store manager, the sales team, and the woman inventorying and adding up our bill, we were led to believe that our coupon would be honored and then told that they're mistake was now ours. We did nothing we believed was wrong and weren't trying to cheat the system, we legitimately thought the deal was OK and none of them seemed to know at that time that they could never do a discount over 65%.



I will never shop here and will always let people know what poor service I had at Kittles. On top of all this, the original delivery was 1 1/2 hours after our two hour window and I had to shift around plans in order to be here at my apartment. Avoid Kittles at all costs, because they may rescind the deals the promise and then say you must pay more than everyone agreed upon.

Me and my wife were looking for new living room furniture in early December and fell in love with a rather expensive sectional. We ordered it (same color and style as the one on the showroom floor) and paid in full that day. We were told it would be delivered early January. Mid January came and went and when I called to ask about it they said there was a delay in manufacturing and we should have it by early February. Early February came and went and after my second phone call they said we need to wait until early March due to the manufacturing delay. After explaining my frustration about not receiving any notification of the delays to every employee I talked to (four including the store manager) they all said it was not part of their job and blamed another employee (who also said it was not them). I still have no idea if there is even a policy in place to let expecting customers know if the delivery is going to be delayed (even after waiting 4 months). At this point I am fully expecting for March to pass us by without a phone call or delivery. You are better off going with another company.
