General Info: Teen & Family Services is based at Austin, Texas, is a non-profit organization providing support and solutions to combat teen substance abuse. The program provides professional assistance and a clear path so that the parent and the patient can address issues in order to find out the solutions. It runs a peer-based recovery program, which has been especially created for teen patients and their families. The program includes parent education, and individual and family counseling. The life skills curriculum offers teens the chance to learn new skills during group meetings and retreats. Spiritual development is ensured as faith, honesty, service, and self-examination form a part of the program. To prevent relapse during the summer months, Teen & Family Services provides a positive place to hang out from noon till evening.
