My car was towed by pronto. My mother-in-law called the next day (Sunday) to let them know she's coming to get my car, and was told that he wasn't available until Monday! When it clearly says "24 hrs a day to release your vehicle". Monday comes and my mother-in-law went up there to get my car. They couldnt release it to her and was told they had my car inside the work shop being worked on, and started to take apart my car without my consent! They decided to move my vehicle AGAIN without my permission into a storage because i did not want to pay the workshop fee even though they had no business touching my car in the first place! These people are extremely rude and has no type of customer service. So I go up there later that day to get my car and ready to pay but i had to give an hour notice. I waited almost 2 hours at the facility and finally a lady came from across the street asking if i had a report? I told her no. That i was in a car accident, and it was towed here, and i have a towing company coming out to pick it up. She then asked me is the car drivable! (If it was drivable it wouldnt of been in there in the first place!) I said no and then she said well its gonna cost ANOTHER towing fee to bring it out side their gate! So me already annoyed and just want to go home ask how much is the towing fee to bring it right out side the gate? She doesnt know how much but yet telling me i got to pay more fees and she has to make a call to find out! Then she asks who is going to pick it up after its outside the gate? I told her i had another tow truck coming now and she tells me "oh you have to use one of our towing services" She then makes the call and tells me he said he cant do it anyway tonight because its "Too much of a hassle to bring it outside the gate", and if i wanted it out tonight "they will tow it to the place i need it to go to". If not i would have to come back tomorrow! I leave come back the next day (Tuesday) finally got my car the hell out of there.

I got connected to Albert's by AMA towing and could not be happier. This company did an AMAZING JOB towing the most inconveniently located RV on earth. The driver was a true pro and the job was NOT EASY AT ALL. It was back the most dreadfully rocky road and required an hour of sweaty work in the August sun to get hooked up in its horrible condition.
I can't say enough good stuff about these guys. They really went above and beyond and it was a hard job and they did it perfectly.

This company is notorious in Austin for unfairly towing vehicles that are legally parked. A friend of mine and I came out of a nail appointment to find our legally parked rental car was gone and had to pay $193 to get it back. Please do not ever use this towing company.

DON'T USE ALBERT'S TOWING!! T...

DON'T USE ALBERT'S TOWING!! The owner of this towing company is a rude opportunist who makes his living off the misfortune of other people. My daughter was in an accident in Austin and the police called Albert's Towing to tow the car away. When I called to arrange to have the car picked up by a salvage company, the owner rattled off OVER $500 in charges that would have to be payed before he would RELEASE the vehicle. One of the charges was a $50 charge to send me a registered letter to let me know that the vehicle was at his towing yard (a fact that I already knew AND I still had not received the letter after 14 days). Luckily, I found a very polite, helpful and competent salvage company (Fidel's Junk Autos) in Austin. The salvage driver offered to go to Albert's Towing and pick up the car and take it to his lot AND STORE IT FOR FREE until I could get the original title to him (I had the original title in Michigan). I spoke to Albert's Towing 4 times to let him know that my daughter would be coming with a salvage company to pick up the car. Albert's knew that I lived in Michigan and that I would not be the one coming to his yard to pick up the car. Because he did not like the fact that I had expressed that his charges were somewhat bloated and unreasonable, he waited until my daughter got all the way to his impound yard and then told her that she could not take the car because she was not the owner. Unfortunately for Albert's, he did not count on the fact that I foresaw his shady tactics and had sent her a copy of the title and registration, both of which had her name on them as the owner. Even after she presented the legal documents to Albert's, he studied them for 15 minutes trying to figure out a way to NOT release the car to her. NEVER, in any of the phone calls or in person, did Albert's Towing ever express that my daughter was lucky to have not been hurt in the accident. He was "all business" and was only concerned about how much money he was getting. Conversely, the first thing that the driver for Fidel's Junk Autos said after seeing the car was "you could have been seriously hurt in this accident". I wouldn't trust Albert's Towing for anything, anywhere, any time for any reason. In my opinion, he is in the same category with lawyers that defend criminals for the money with no regard for the human or moral perspectives. He was rude, uncaring and opportunistic. DON'T USE ALBERT'S TOWING!
