International Residence Apartments

This is a horrible place to live. I wish I could give them 0 stars.



It's like living in a third world country, they shut the water off for the entire apartment complex three or four times a week with no warning. I think this week the water has been off more than it's been on.



They come into your apartment during the day when you aren't home and "fix" things so they can charge you outrageous fees. When you actually put in a work order to ask for something to be fixed they won't fix it. I asked five times for the weather stripping on my windows to be replaced because it's falling off in strips, after the fourth time they sealed my windows shut with clear silicone sealant. Silicone sealant is very clearly not weather stripping, they were just sealing my windows shut to spite me for asking for something to be fixed. They didn't even use the sealant to glue the rotting strips of weather stripping down!



There's bugs EVERYWHERE. You can't even walk to the mailboxes without seeing roaches scurrying around the parking lot. They charge every month for "pest control" but clearly that's just another way to steal money from their residents. The dumpsters are always overflowing and because of that people were just leaving trash all over the walkways and parking lot. It got so bad that FINALLY the apartment complex had to hire a company to come around every night and pick up the trash from your front door. It's mandatory and they charge us $25 for it. Oh, you can't forget they have 'community' water bills. I live alone and I pay $50 a month for my water because my neighbors all have six or more people crammed into their apartments.



Don't try to call the office, they never answer the phone. If you do get in touch with them there's never a manager available. When you go in they treat you like trash because they know they can, you have a lease and aren't going anywhere. I've never been treated so poorly anywhere in my life.



I am so unhappy living here. I'm ashamed to even invite people over because the complex is so old and disgusting. Do not move into this place.
