Overall
Service

Indigo was a great place to live when we moved in in January, 2014. The leasing agents were great and the management was so involved and caring. October, 2016. The property has been flipped, the office management staff is on the fourth group, the amenities are disappearing or in very poor condition, the property is filthy, lease policies are not enforced.
The place was beautiful, the residents were all friendly and proud of their community. Now, the only clean places are where the leasing agents take you on a tour to try to sell you. The breezeways and stairwells are filthy. They are apparently renting to anyone who can fill out a rental application. We went almost a whole year with 6 lounge chairs at the pool (the other 18 were in tatters). The outdoor fireplace hasn't been functioning in over a year.
There are 2 big pros to living at Indigo...but fortunately the cons outweigh.
*The maintenance guys, Mark and David are awesome! They are always working and are professional.
*The CARES team events are great! Christy and Jody know how to throw a party or a brunch or any other type of event. They are so nice and very hospitable!
Please think twice before renting at Indigo. The patrol service they employ is useless. I witnessed 2 homeless people swimming in the pool and sleeping in the outdoor kitchen area (between 4 a.m. and 1 p.m. on a rainy Sunday!) When I called the patrol service I got no answer. When we reported it to the management we received the same answer as with other issues "We'll look into it". I had photos!
There are MANY apartments in Austin, Texas for rent! Don't believe all the hype about a shortage! They are building apartments on every vacant lot and are all making deals.
We have moved into a property that is about the same age as Indig, have more square footage, tons of ammenities (including a steam room/dry sauna/jacuzzi). And we are not paying any more than at Indigo.
Don't waste your time with Indigo.

Overall

ive posted on a few side,i know people use different ones,so the apartments are very nice inside, mid grade stainless steel, laminate wood flooring and a good layout,i have a large balcony, theres washer dryer,a nice gym and a lot parking, theres also parties at the leasing office and the food is good, the people are...well idk,im guessing its more family or people who are done with college and well into their careers..or trust fund babies lol, theres a few things that annoy me with living here.one is what your paying for,the smallest one bedroom is over 650 sq.ft and is $870 but...factor this, they make you pay $25 valet trash (she didnt tell me about until i already signed the lease) and they only come sun-thurs not on the days which you actually need them fri/sat,and they are so strict with the rules,like...its just trash, and they will leave it here!then the water bill is typically $45 on top of that monthly (1 bedroom) and the water doesnt even get hot...so your paying $950 to stay here pretty much in the middle of kind of nowhere,i was in a hurry when i leased here and its a lease up so of course they were a little pushy when getting people in here, but needless to say i wont be renewing my lease, there are way better deals
