Hopdoddy Burger Bar

I just tried this spot out for the first time and I was really impressed. Their milkshakes are some of the best I've ever had, and they had a really good burger selection. My burger came out perfect and had a lot of flavor, and I got a side of fries also that were really delicious and unique too.

A must try while in Austin. You will be standing in line for a bit but it's worth the wait. Great burgers and fries.

Who would have thought that standing in line, peering through floor to ceiling windows, watching others eat what appear to be delicious burgers and fries, would be so fun?



Hopdoddy is putting out the best burger in Austin currently, the local craft beer selection is not expansive, but, of high quality (enjoyed in line or sitting down), and the staff is consistently upbeat and positive - a great combination.



For those who love a good cheeseburger, Hopdoddy sets the Austin baseline - it's a great bun made onsite, thick juicy patty, and a creatively satisfying, but not overwhelming, taste. The burger can be, at times, too juicy, making the bottom half of your bun turn slightly soggy - yep, it's getting that particular.

Hopdoddy is the best burger in town right now. If you have the time to sit down then this is the place to be. There is a new location off Anderson Lane as well. Their fries are also amazing.

The magic shroom is hands down the best burger I've ever had. Not to mention the fries. Oh the fries! There's even a full bar and milkshakes! Fun atmosphere, local and sustainable food, right in the heart of SoCo. You can't go wrong.
