Endometriosis: Endometriosis occurs when tissues that normally line the inside of your uterus begin to grow outside the uterus. These patches of tissue may appear on your ovaries, fallopian tubes, the outer uterine surface, or other organs in your pelvis. A Louisiana native, Regan completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree in 2013 and has worked as a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery setting for the past 7 years. This is where Regan’s passion for women’s health and patient-centered care developed. Working in this setting encouraged Regan to further her education to allow her to provide individualized and specialized health care for women throughout their lifespan. She highly values viewing women and their health as a whole entity and also values thorough discussions on health-maintenance practices. Ultrasound images give parents-to-be the joyful first view of their baby’s fingers, face, and gender, but that’s not their only benefit. Hill Country OB/GYN offers high-quality ultrasounds in the convenience of their office to evaluate your baby’s health and to diagnose gynecological problems.
Mammography
At this yearly appointment, we will collect a urine specimen for urinalysis as a screen for bladder infection. The medical assistant will take your vitals (weight and blood pressure) and update your medical chart, including your medical history, obstetric history, surgical history and medications. If indicated, your doctor will perform a breast exam and a pelvic exam. Depending on your age, a pap smear, which is a screening test for cervical cancer, is typically performed during this appointment. Your doctor will discuss if a pap smear is recommended. Other routine screening may be recommended including STI (sexually transmitted infection) screening, fasting screening labs, mammography, and bone density screening.

Minimally Invasive Surgery

Robotic Surgery
