Edgecreek Apartments

Ive lived here for 2 yrs in the new building that had been rebuilt after burning down, so everything is new. The electricity isnt working on 2 light sources, the toilet had to be replaced, every outlet is falling off and off center, and the ac and water heater were installed improperly and had to be fixed. You can hear every noise (as quiet as I am I have a neighbor who constantly complains about me bc my schedule is different so I was told not to shower at queit times. I do expect noise living in a apartment so whatever, but they are always on my case despite cars honking and blaring music at 2 am- which is never looked upon.



But none of this typical apartment stuff is what bothers me. Let me list the safety issues:



1. I was walking the dog in broad daylight on the path and a man jumped out of bushes from behind me grabbed me, held me down and touched me under my dress. He grabbed my dog too.



2. A maintanance person walked in on me while i was necked searching for clothes- no warning they were visiting and not knocking either. It was an old man who calimed he was comming in about the ant problem (wrong unit?)- I took his word for it but I was concerned.



3. The neighbors had some sort of issue that ended in a blood bath and the blood was left there for many months trailing up 3 flights of stairs. It was all over my door too somehow.



4. I was walking my pup one oct eve when i saw a man sitting under the always broken lights behind the bushes. the manwalked off then hid in the tennis courts and later started following me. So I went into a man-friends unit and had him escort me home an hour later for safe mesure.



5. I have disability and never leave me home- its hard walking 3 flights on a broken leg- The one time a week I volunteer at the hospital somebody brakes in through my wondow. They knew my schedule. Cops say its almost always friends. Well we arent from TX we dont have any friends! I was convinced somebody was watching us.



6. A month later we happen to park in a different spot when returning from groceries. I was in the dining room and the door opened LITERALLY on me. The dogs attacked and the man took off running. I slammed the door and called the cops. I was lucky he ran- what if he had a weapin or just grabbed me?!?!?!



After all these times of calling the cops the management told me that there wasnt anything they could do so I should just move if I felt scared. I asked them to alert the community that a person who LIVES here is braking in but several days later there has been no notice.



I can go on and on with issues. Im not a scared girl whos afraid to take out the trash alone so believe me when i tell you unless you are prepared to have mace or gun at your every move ready to fire dont live here. If you are a woman or have kids stay clear. If you dont want to see drug deals every day stay clear.

I work at an apartment community on Metric. Anytime I have had to interact with the office staff at Edge Creek they have always been very unfriendly and rude. Their customer service skills are abismal. Our company focuses on customer service and I am proud to be part of a positive team dynamic.



I have friends that have toured Edge Creek as well and they have expressed a very unfriendly office staff. Remember readers, if they are unfriendly to you when you visit, imagine the level of cusomter service you will receive when you move there. The office staff is who you have to deal with whenever you need to enter a work order, or express concerns. I am not impressed, not even close.

If you are looking for good service through this apartment management team - Keep Looking!! This team stinks at service. Their Maintainance people are slow and VERY in-efficient. They DO NOT work on the weekends NO MATTER WHAT THE ISSUE MAY BE!! The office staff misleads you in believing that everything that can be done is being done..not the case!! You wil be lied to, put off, given EVERY excuse known to mankind just to make you feel they're looking after your needs. These units are VERY OLD AND IN NEED OF REPAIRS. AC units are always breaking down, hot water heaters need repaired, etc. This units are INDIVIDUALLY owed so don't be surprised if you get a notice to vacate due to your owner being foreclosed on!!

If this site would change their office and maintainance personnel it would make for a happier and less stressed place to live. They should also go back to being open on at least Saturday's in case emergencies arise - which is inevitable when you live in apartment complexes. I will be moving out upon the end of my lease to find a better place to reside with better personnel. I do like that the police and fire dept is very close by.
