My mother passed away recently. My dad and mom had already gotten policies including everything....and I mean everything. My dad is 91...the people at pflugerville pressured my dad to see him....most likely to upsell but everything was DONE....all arrangements as far as creation and the place to keep ashes. We finally were allowed to see the people at Cook walden without having my dad go there or come to him. My son went there and he was treated so unprofessionally it was unbelievable with multiple things they did that was beyond what I call nice or professional. So they finally sent the papers home with the information that we needed to have them notorized....I took my dad to the bank to have them notorized. Well, the bank could not notorize them because Cook Walden did the paperwork wrong...crossing off things and whiting out things.....essentially she could not notorize them. I then had to take my dad all the way up to see them...but it was raining and since he lost a leg in the service, I let her come out to the car and just sign them and that was it.....totally a unprofessional experience.
