As a newbie to the Austin scene I had been finding it difficult to locate a top notch eye care professional. However, following the recommendation of a trusted friend; I gave Dr. Bob Joe and Associates a shot. From the outset the service and professionalism were second to none. The receptionists were friendly, informative, and in every way helpful. My appointment was scheduled with the " and Associate" Dr. Chhean (and Dr. Chhean I assure you I mean no disrespect by referring to you as the "and Assoc." I just felt it was an apt way to describe you as the other doctor in the practice.) who was absolutely exceptional in her knowledge and consummate professionalism, while drudging through what I have been told a host of times is a difficult patient. I felt at ease during the entire appointment; all of my questions were answered to my satisfaction ( I assure you there were a bunch) and was given all the information I felt I needed to take care of my vision now as well as set me on a path to a future of healthy eyes. The practice offers nothing but the apex of designer frames and fashions while keeping costs relatively affordable. All in all I had an overwhelmingly pleasant experience in my visit to Dr. Bob Joe and Associates, and for once do not dread my next years eye exam. I have found an eye doctor as long as I happen to be here in Austin. Anyone can "craft a lens" or claim to be the "master of the eye" but for my money the proof is in the practice.
