All Around Austin Exotic Pets

I had a great experience at AAA Exotic Pets, the employees & volunteers were not only extremely helpful but also knew exactly what they were talking about. Every question I had was answered & I left the pet store (with my adorable baby bearded dragon) feeling confident & assured. After doing some research online I still had a few questions so I called them at the store & was pleased when the lady who answered was very knowledgeable & was once again able to answer all my questions. All the animals looked very healthy & happy. I will definitely be coming back.

Was sold an exotic pet with mites. Was told I should have used Walmart brand spray on my expensive new (baby) friend when confronted about the $100 vet bill. I was told the pet had been at the vet for another issue that was resolved and as a result was being sold to me with a "clean bill of health". Subsequently, all other animals in the house needed to be watched/checked for mites as well.

The manager then got upset with me because another mammal in the same cage as mine was, at that time, at a birthday party for little kids who would be interacting with the animal. A mite infested animal was brought into someone's home (who possibly had another animals) to interact with small children. Working in healthcare, I reported this incident to the local health department. It would be nearly impossible to track this, but at any rate... I will never deal with these people again and will spread my experience any chance I get or whenever someone asks about my pet.
