Aurora Elementary School serves approximately 550 students in kindergarten through grade 5. Based in Aurora, Neb., it is a part of Aurora Public Schools. The school curriculum includes reading, Mathematics, English, Social Studies, Science, and spelling practice. Additional activities include vocal music, instrumental music, art, gifted program, and drug and alcohol education. It provides special education to students with disabilities from birth as well as provides guidance counseling for individual and groups. The school organizes Future Problem Solvers program that includes activities, such as quiz bowl, geography bee, band, Hamilton County Spelling Contest and Community Problem Solvers (CmPS) program.
