General Info

I provide therapeutic counseling for individuals and groups, working primarily with women. I am always honored to have the privilege to sit with another, to hear their story and journey with them in their process of healing, change and growth. Counseling is hard work and reaching out for help can stir up much fear, yet it can also open the door to great possibilities. Choosing to enter therapy may be the best way one can care of themselves and to begin to live life fully. As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe place for my clients to explore the intricacies of their story, a place where they can begin to let down their guard and enter into the deeper places of the heart and soul. I work with clients to form a therapeutic alliance where, together, we will work though the concerns brought to therapy. Although I draw from a variety of perspectives to best meet the needs of my clients, my philosophy of counseling is rooted in relational psychotherapy. In our work, we focus on the client's primary relationships, as well as the relationship that develops between the client and therapist. As we explore these relationships in greater depth, we will gain insight that fosters great healing, change, and growth.
