3700 miles per week isn't possible? I remember my first week in trucking too. Sounds like another one who didn't want to work, then cries about how much he isn't making after the fact.

If they are willing to show you what the other owner operators are grossing on their settlements that would seem to mean that they aren't hiding anything. And they should figure the stop pay into the gross rate, that's what gross rate means. They are offering a $3000 sign on bonus. That seems in line with lots of other companies in Denver. Please take Brent's advice and ask to see their rate matrix, because they will show it to you up front. They'll even have you talk to some of the other owner operators working there to make sure everything is on the level before you sign on.

If you elect to sign on as a contractor to Brisk, there are a few things you need to be aware of. First and foremost, you will not be making the 2500 per week as commonly quoted. The average net per mile you will take home is in the .60 cpm range, taking into account 6mpg and 300 per week hard costs. My net was .66 cpm. They pay 18.40 per extra drop, and calculate any extra drop fees into the dollar per mile you will be quoted. Based on this, you will have to turn approximately 3700 miles per week, which is not possible given the shorter hauls and the way it is dispatched. They operate on a first billing and second billing system, dispatching loads at 9 am and again at 4 pm, however many times you will be skipped on both billings, forcing a day off.

Their turnover rate is high, hence why they must offer such a significant sign on bonus.

The dispatchers are for the most part very friendly. However their upper management staff and the terminal manager in Denver will tell you whatever is required to keep you around.

I encourage you to look at their pricing matrix, and demand to see it. If they show you "drivers checks", I assure you they are loaded, and are NOT the net take home. The safety manager will tell you that the average is 2500 per week take home, and the terminal manager will follow with the same.

I encourage you to investigate it thoroughly. There is a logical reason they offer such a significant sign on bonus. Good companies that pay and treat you well do not have to offer such an early incentive if they pay and treat you well to begin with.
