Szabo, Edward, DPM

I went to him for neuromas in both feet. Had X-rays in both feet taken and mri’s done and he forgot that either had been done. He forgot that he had been injecting the spots too. Nothing was working. Sent me on my way in agonizing pain. Ahhh yes, he also forgot to set up the appointment to get said original appointment for the MRI until January of the next year when all insurances reset. Such a peach of a gentleman. Needless to say it’s been over two years and I’m in worse pain now than I was when I went to see him in the first place. And this is ASU’s only Podiatrist?! How will the next generation learn from this quack?!

I found Dr. Szabo to be kind, caring,and knowledgeable. He
listenened to all my concerns without rushing me and answered all of my questions patiently. The clinic was spotless and his staff was top notch.

My first visit was okay; he put a cast on my leg for a broken ankle. The next time I came, he took the cast off and started telling me how good my foot looked. I said, "What about the ankle?" and he responded, "Oh, don't worry about a sprained ankle." I tried to explain I came in for a broken ankle but he says I'm wrong about that, it was a broken foot. Leaving confused, 3 weeks later I still couldn't walk without pain even though he told me I should try immediately, so I schedule another appointment. After going to GRUs records to confirm my ankle is what the ER said was broken, and Szabo on the first visit, I explain why he was wrong and there is NO apology, NO confession of guilt, and NO return of money for the visit where he analyzed me for a broken foot I didn't have. If I had the money to make it worth it while I would've hired a lawyer to sue, but luckily my leg healed without the help of Dr. Szabo, moron MD.

I an very embarrassed for the review I posted. The failed surgeries were of my own making. Had no business ever having it done. So sorry for the rant. Lack of class .:-(

If I could less than 1 I would. I just wrote a review & it diss ppeared when I went to submit it because U hadn't rated it. In a nutshell. Surgery NEVER should have been performed. I had a slight hammer toe. No ethical doctor woukd have touched a woman of my age witb all her existing health issues. I couldn't see it at the time. My foot is a disaster, I suffer constant pain. I hate my life now thanks to this !

Dr Szabo performed foot surgery and had complications due to his incompetency. I am currently under another Drs. care to make corrections. I find Dr. Szabo very arrogant especially when I asked questions regarding my care. I would highly recommend another surgeon.
