Established in 1958, Pace Academy is a college preparatory school, offering education to more than 900 students in grades one through 12. The school has average class size of 15 students and the student teachers ratio is 9-to-1. The school provides advanced placement programs in various subjects, including English, modern European history, comparative politics, art history, environmental science, physics and statistics. Pace Academy s foreign language classes include French, Spanish and Latin. Additionally, the school offers classes in biology, environmental science, music theory, studio art and computer science. It has a media center library with collection of more than 18,000 print and nonprint materials and an electronic database. The schools list of clubs include drama, debate and outdoor. Its athletic programs include football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, track and field, softball and tennis. Pace Academy is located in Atlanta.
